I just want Kyle to stop using Deebo in the backfield. It´s too risky. Find other ways to win.

I agree, especially during regular season games. Either the Denver D played lights out or the league is adjusting. He was bottled up tonight for the most part.

Denver has been a good D all season. But that doesn't excuse 10 points.

Only when there's a minute left. I remember back in the day, no huddle was used even during the middle of the game when other s**t was not working. Get your best personal on the field and don't let the defense substitute.

Teams are dialed in to those runs now. It's not working like it did last year.

Kyle's O, with Jimmy at qb was figured out by game 5. The defense carried us that year. Need an opposite ferocious edge rush this year with Jackson and we still have a chance, but Jimmy needs 17 points per game. He was smiling visibly on the field after the loss. He's loving it. $350 plus K for that game? He's stealing money at this point

Hey, not trying to troll but if we had an average defense these last 5 years with shanny? Would the majority of us niners fan still look at him at a great coach.. our offenses have looking very predictable and struggles to adjust when defenses do. Notice how a lot of our games our first drive or 2 are usually solid and then we go stagnant for alot do the game especially against better defenses, 2 min offense is garbage and our offense especially to close out a game these last few years have been horrible and don't have any confidence in them, like we pray for a miracle.
I feel like our run game on like 3rd and short is probably one of the worst in the league, idk if there's any way we can look something like that up. like our offense is just not good overall against teams when it matters and weak defenses and it's not like we don't have all pros at LT, TE, WR.. it's embarrassing
I know qb is the most important position and we haven't had a great qb during that span but I feel if our defense was top 15-20 instead of 3-5.. we'd all look at shanny much differently.. I don't think he should be fired but I don't think he's as much of an offensive guru as we think he is
I know this sounds like a typical webzone meltdown after a tough loss but I'm trying to feel people out and see if these are really concerns for Kyle or just have an average qb at best? I don't think Kyle should be fired and I think our team will have a couple more tough losses but expect a 10-7 11-6 type season and getting into playoffs but unfortunately seems like same outcome of facing a tough defense or can't score with a high scoring offense and above average defense. I feel reallly sorry for the defense honestly
Like just curious, say hypothetically end of year goes by and offense struggles all year and defense is lights out still and we finish 9-8 or 10-7 with an ugly playoff loss. How much of a downgrade would it be if they decide to promote Ryan's to HC and hire an actual OC? I just don't see us being much worse offensively and defensively we should be the same
Why deal with hypotheticals when in 2017 and 2018 the defense wasnt that great ? I remember the failed cover-3, Armstead being a LEO, Tartt at FS, etc. Pre-Bosa era the defense wasnt that great.
There is a reason Shanny's record is horrible when trailing after halftime. Most of his wins are because of our defense. Now, I'll give him credit for our best offense he put together in 2019, but it benefitted from the "new" factor. Teams didnt have that much film on Jimmy. Hell, Goff with McVey started out blazing hot too and that offense looked like a juggernaut at one point. You still saw Kyle put clamps on the passing game anytime he could as to not turn the ball over.
I get the defense wasn't always special
2017 offense ranked 12th and defense 24th (Jimmy G came last 5 games and freestyles to boost those numbers as our offense was winging it)
2018 offense ranked 16th and defense 13th (Jimmy injury early but offense struggled early before that too)
2019 Bosa era- offense ranked 4th and defense ranked 2nd
2020 Bosa went down- offense 15th and defense 5th
2021- offense 7th and defense 3rd
Rams in Goffs last 2 years
2019 offense ranked 7th and defense ranked 13th
2020 offense ranked 11th and defense 1st
And I think we're more talented on offense all around but just seems like their offense gets going more times than not and seems to find a way. I get teams are not perfect and have bad games but we always have bad offensive games when we play a good defense who adjusts like seems we struggle to put up 20 pts when it matters and we're supposed to be an offensive juggernaut with an elite defense who gives you the ball back more than most teams.
Those offensive rankings are actually great for what we were working with but we just struggle to get anything going besides the first drives of a lot of games and just seem like we don't adjust as well as good defenses do to us. We can't ever get short yards runs when our speciality is running the ball, I need to find a stat cause I feel like everytime it's 3rd and shortish(1-4 yards maybe) we get stuffed alot compared to other teams.
Feel like good teams are figuring out the offense a decent bit. Just to be clear I think shanahn is a pretty good coach but he's not top 10 or whatever. His offense has been great for a lot of the year but it's also the reason our team can't get over the hump most of the time when it matters. We all know it has a lot has to do with getting the right qb and he's had the opp with Brady or Watson or Mahomes or Allen and decided to go with gabbert and wait for Kirk cousins. We draft RBs high every year more than most other teams and struggle finding true bellcows, just too many misses for offensive weapons. Idk I'm just saying he's good but not great and don't think we should let him go unless we have a good replacement whether it's getting a great OC and promoting Ryan's or something. He's just not irreplaceable and we should keep a lookout cause we could be 2-5 or so to start this year, just not enough adjusting when teams are adjusting to deebo runs. Maybe this part is a lazy take here but I just watch cheifs or rams and there's a handful of plays a game where they just always seem to have someone open on offense with no defender near the play.
I just feel Kyle should have been better at times and scheme plays open and set up the offense on a few plays here or there when we just really need anything on offense.

KS and the 9ers are close to a SB win, the only problem has ALWAYS BEEN the QB position, POOR AND NONE PROBOWLER PLAY (and injuries are the secondary issue). Can't really blame that on KS or the FO, they drafted Trey to replace Jimmy and even brought back Jimmy as insurance.
BAD LUCK, TRIAL BY FIRE..
The Lambs had the same issue and they traded for Stafford and got it done last season, sad but true, enough said.

Peyton would jump at this job. We will still have a great team next year. He would get to coach a guy who throws a beautiful deep ball. With gray in there. Hopefully they are looking. Kyle is stealing Jed's money at this point. He's not trying anything new.

It seems to me that everything has to be near perfect for Kyle's scheme to work.

Doesnt matter who the HC is without Probowl QB play or at least mistake free QB play, you can't get over hump.
Peyton had Brees, a HOF QB, he only got 1 SB out of it.
