Time management is something else I would like to see improve, I do not have much to go on but after the SB clock management problems the wasted TO on the 2 pt conversion stuck out. This is something else I expect Shanahan and the team to get better at as the year goes on.

This is the year to learn.

Man, all these turnovers are killing us. I don't think its all on Shanny but I sure hope he makes that a point of emphasis for the rest of this season. Like Gore said, Trent messed this team up but unlike the previous two years, it looks like we're building a foundation for success.

Yeah, there are 3 sure-fire ways to lose a game: 1) Turnovers 2) Penalties and 3) Drops

...and we're #1 in two of those.

If they had close to a clean sheet in any of those three, we'd be 4-1 right now, rather easily.
Shanahan is the least of our worries

Yes disrespecting players and all of our intelligence. Saying stupid stuff like "the hot hand". Hyde never had a chance in this game. He went to jusscyk and Breida early so don't give me that "hot hand" crap

No, just yours...

Yeah, I'm glad we got him and not Gase.

I think Shanny the younger was the perfect pick and will be a legend when the dust settles. I really do.

It was also be god awful to watch until it gels.

I really like Shanahan. Our team definitely has its issues right now, but overall we are an improvement from last couple of years, which a positive upside.

We still have a long way to go and our product on the field hasn't been great but at least we have been competitive.

Some time, development and talent acquiring.. we will be slappin mofos in no time!

For those that seriously don't like Kyle play this game......when you see a play where Hoyer misses a guy by 5 yards or chucks it out of bounds when a dude is running free imagine what it will look like when a QB makes this throw. Then add that to the numbers Hoyer actually gets because he does make really impressive plays periodically. There is an outstanding schematic offense that's in OUR building.....this is a huge plus, not a problem.

You have to give him 4 years to truly evaluate him. He had nothing to work with. Hell, this was an expansion team (circa 199 browns; 2002 texans) He has no QB, no WR, no interior linemen, no pass rushers, no CB's.... Baalke raped this roster.

4 Years??

These are the York 49ers we don't even let good HC's last that long here....
He'll get 3.5 minimum like Nolan. The team will quit year 4 if you hired a fraud. Owner will have no choice but to let him go.

But, it was also Shanahan who wanted to sign Hoyer. It was his call which turned out to be the mistake that you are talking about, missing the guy by 5 yards and chucking the ball out of bounds.

Nobody forced Hoyer on Shanahan. He thought Hoyer would be a fantastic bridge QB which unfortunately he isn't. Nice guy though.

I also picked Shanahan for HC, but that doesn't mean I will not criticize him just to protect my position.

That team better do their damn job then.

Calm down the sky isn't falling yet. It is shanahans first year and at least the team is competitive, what did you expect? The games are close the improvement is there he missed on hoyer yes but who else was out there?

Gotta get a win soon...Dumbsula was 2-4 after 6 games...Chip 1-5...going 0-6 is technically heading in the wrong direction.....
