Why didn't he gash the Chargers with a play action pass when they were desperately loading the box to stop the run at the end? He is too predictable at times. The running game was starting to do well, but it was obvious that the Chargers were fully selling out to stop our run. Play action would have gashed them there.

Because he's a stubborn, petulant, overrated, figured-out hack.

This team should be competing for a super bowl and he has them losing games to the bears, falcons, and Broncos and eeking out a win against the second string chargers

harsh, but hes been figured out yea....struggling to switch tempo between pass + run where each play is called like a winner .... not a set up to something later...

Where LAC is blitzing the house? That was awesome from JG. We all know he struggles to get the ball out in pressure situations and that can lead to real negative plays. He did a great job there. That's a comical take if that play is some complaint.

So just getting the ball out is all that matters accuracy be damned?

It was a completed pass. If it was wild and incomplete you would have a point and I would agree with you. It's called do your job his job there is A) ball out quick no negative play. If he finds someone for a nice gain why are we moaning here?

Who would you want coach this team?

Was a great play by Aiyuk. Just giving the proper guy credit instead of a ridiculous take that somehow Jimmy bailed Kyle out.

That was one of his worst games and after a bye at home raising eyebrows. Always nice to look at the game after a win and fix things than after a loss.

But wow we are clunky and hard to watch.. looks like a year 1 HC figuring out his style / offense not a year 6

We can agree to disagree..

I would expect the crowd critical of JG to think on a house blitz JG will eff it up and take a sack, ball out forced fumble, or back foot INT. Those are sometimes his rough moments. Let's give him credit also. To me on a house blitz the pressure is on the QB. The WRs often have an easier time as there are more rushers less in coverage. Degree of difficulty there for JG is higher than BA on that play IMO. BA runs a route on air no one contacts him and he adjusts to a ball in air a tad.. so insignificant an adjustment that you barely notice it in real time.

It wasn't pretty at times, but it was a win. The other guys get paid too. Mack was disruptive.

The win over the Rams was pretty. though and fun to watch.

You lose more watching the Niners' offense.

Thank you. This was an inexcusable performance that was solely on him and his play calling. And they had no business winning based on that performance; lucky he has a second year DC to bail him out

All the Investments we've made amongst the DL Is starting to pay off.

It sucks we can't say the Same about the offense.

All that talent and that's the best we can do?
Last Week(exclude bye): Give Kyle a 10 pt lead, he can't maintain it.

Kyle:

This Week: Down in the 4th quarter, he can't come back

Where was the hurry up after they started losing DLinemen?? He's too focused on being a cute play caller instead of being a head coach.
This win is because of the defense clamping down and the chargers ultimately not being able to compete because of how many players they're missing…it was despite of shanahan and not because of him.

Didn't even cover the 7 point spread.

the fg when they were on the one or two yard line at the beginning of the game told you all you needed to know about how shanny was gonna do this one.

maybe show some faith in an offense that has pro bowl playmakers at every position. What kinda message does that send at a time in the game where 7 was more important than 3, and the risk was so much lesser than the reward.
We won.

Here's what I see.. 6 years in and he can't develop or evaluate the QB position to get himself above .500. Passed on Hurts, Brady, Allen, Mahomes, (do we add Fields?). Paid $137 to JG and 3 ones for TL. Can't keep either healthy for long on preventable stuff (see JG KC or TL vs SEA). Doesn't develop the guys he does select or add. Beathard or JG did we see any improvement over time? Did TL have a single TD in 5 qtrs or did he still look raw this year? Some of the moves have been clown moves like publicly moving on from JG then keeping him. Or supposedly moving up first, doing the draft eval second.. Shame he can't get the QB spot figured.. as the rest of the team looks Super.
