maybe some are not tolerant of a opinion that differs than theirs. i was dead wrong for the last two years. not going to be so quick to swallow the kool aid now.. it will have to be injected into me as they hold me down

It's ok, CC, the bad man can't hurt you anymore.... The things is, you can't expect ShanaLynch to pay for Kelly and Baalke's crimes. They're already doing that with having the most talentless roster when they took over. It wasn't like there were all-pros waiting and wanting to come to a 3 year rebuild. Are there issues? Yes. Heck yes. If we didnt' have issues then ShanaLynch should take their show to vegas and put David Copperfield out of business cause that would be some next level magic.

oh. to the mod and others.. i have no time for anyone to try to humanize hoyer by telling me he is the 13tth best. proof that staley and his stats are for losers comments rings true. quik stats is not the true measure of a player. it may help you to try to prove ones point of view.
no one is telling you he's 13th best. i guess you will bring this up on Monday how all you hear is Hoyer being the 13th best QB lol

Someone posted the following:
Brian Hoyer is currently ranked 13th in passing

He is not ranked 13th in passing, unless you think interceptions, completion percentage and TDs are not part of "passing".
all it takes is a quick look and that person meant yards, CC said 13th best. no one said he is 13th best

The person meant to pass off the yards ranking as overall passing ranking.
I believe passer rating is a much better measure for a passer than passing yards alone but you and Kohole find that idea laughable.
one stat like you said is not the whole story, but here you are trying to pass off one stat

Passer rating encompasses more than one stat. Why do you find Passer Rating laughable? It is pretty straightforward and usually paints an accurate picture of a QB's performance.
it doesn't include drops/penalties which is a big hit towards the rating and its based off TDs. which have been negated of phantom penalties and non-calls

so its not a true teller

Still don't get why people are trying to cram the issues of previous regimes on to these guys.

Let these guys swim or drown based upon their own merits, not what some other coach or GM did.

In both cases i wanted gruden or older shanny,. when jh left i thought a vet coach like gruden would want this job cuz it was set up to win. i underestimated the negative atmosphere created by trent and jed. funny thing, i was ok with the chip hire for a while. this year i still wanted a vet coach like shanny and gruden but i was ok with young shanny, so far i am not impressed with he and lynch but your post is well taken. my dad was a magician. he pulled a real rabbit out of his hate. its name was gigi. in later years i dated a woman named gigi. i could never have sex with her cuz everytime i looked at her i remembered my pet rabbit

i believe in guilt by association more with players than coaches, whether its right or wrong, but you are right and that is what i am doing. many disagree with me and that is fine. when jh left so many did compare the next two with him ,.i tried to have a open mind with both guys. did not work . many tried to tell me and i did not listen. now i am judging the new people on their own merits

Never blocked anyone before but the endless stream of verbal diarrhea forced the issue.

verbal diarrhea
Some people (such as cciowa) have been complaining before we even took a regular season snap and now it's quite apparent some wanted a different head coach. Others also wanted different players in the draft and didn't get their way. I'm one of those people but I still support Lynch/Shanahan because I'm aware of the fact our front 7 blew chunks last year. We chose to fix the worst run defense in 49er history.

Some are still angry over CK. These negative posters refuse to understand the fact CK would've severely limited our playbook/passing game. We wouldn't be able to use most of the playbook with CK and thus the growth of the whole offense would be stunted. Even Matt Ryan (a true pocket passer) had some issues with Shanahan's offense his first year. It is what it is. We would need a totally different offense for CK. It would be a long term investment if we went with him. They wanted a bridge that was familiar with the offense, not a rushing QB that would require a simplified offense.

Hoyer was never intended to be our FQB. He's here to serve as a bridge QB that Shanahan can use in order to establish the offense. Hoyer's inaccuracy, hestitation and spotty play still gives the entire offense an opportunity to run all of the plays in the playbook. He's simply not playing as well as he did last year- over the last 10 or so games he started in past seasons. He has also faced some very good defenses in Carolina and Seattle. The Cards and Rams have good defensive players but have been underperforming thus far. Anyhow, the point is, hardly anyone here thought Hoyer was our FQB. Including our GM/HC.

Waking up first thing in the morning to post NON-STOP criticism in multiple threads on multiple topics every single day for weeks is overboard. A few specific posters have chosen to facilitate an all out non-stop attack on the new regime. Far beyond constructive criticism it has morphed into perpetual hostility targeting just about every aspect of this team/organization. Give it a rest. Your opinions are known. What is there to gain by repeating and or expanding on the same negativity over and over and over? Five games into a total top down rebuild is WAY too early to freak out like this. But again, people are "freaking out" because they have other motives. Namley, they didn't get their way. They didn't get the HC, GM or players they wanted.

or maybe they are just underwhelmed by what has been done so far and how the team has played. not everything has to do with people not getting their way and sour grapes as you pointed out. not everything has to be a conspiracy. sometimes dots to not connect themselves and i understand some posters like you who have to equate unhappy niner fans this year with.. sour grapes and they did not get their way. but that is far from the truth with many posters i feel
