Does he have a confirmed FQB?.. no.

Are we 6 years in?.. yes.

I would expect a offensive minded genius to get that position right in less than 6 years. For a comp, Andy Reid got the position solved before his first game as HC. He drafted McNabb before he coached a single game, and developed him to be much better than he was on draft day.

How long do we give KS to figure it out? 10 years?

McVay didn't get his until last yr and even that is looking meh. Andy Reid wasn't the GM bro. Stop acting like he was the guy who just hand picked McNabb or Mahomes and no one else played a part in it. He didn't win it all until he got Mahomes. Kyle has won plenty of games with Jimmy (who they did get year 1). We all know why he didn't draft someone that first yr.

McNabb developed into a sub 60% passer lol.

Who is our GM picking the offensive guys? You got at the heart of the issue. Reid had GMs setting himself up with elite QBs. We don't. KS shouldn't be picking the QBs. He sucks at it.

Lynch, Peters, the scouts and coaching staff all play a part in who becomes a 49er.

Reid has had one "elite" QB in over 25 yrs as a HC. He's been part of teams that have also drafted dudes like Kevin Colb and Kevin Hogan. He was known as a choker for a good portion of his career. It's f**king hard to get a FQB, quit acting like they grow in trees…you were the biggest Jimmy Stan in here, now listen to yourself.

Not a single person in here objectively thinks he a FQB, BUT regardless him and Kyle have won a ton of games…only 3 active QBs have a higher winning % Mahomes/Brady/Jackson. So save me the he doesn't get the most out of his QBs.

im starting to see mike McDaniel was the true creative genious

😂 acting like there aren't any deep routes or Jimmy "isn't allowed" to throw the ball deep. My god people.
Don't know what the malcontent forty whiners are whining about especially after a win but,

RUNNING THE BALL = WIN, keeping possession on offense, wearing down the opponent's D, keeping the opponent's offense off the field and resting our D to keep them fresh for the 4th qtr, and especially and most importantly when you got 68 Jimmy G Mr. Highest paid backup as QB1, GJ KS 🤣

How to win a championship? Run the ball at will and play championship D, KS is doing a good job indeed 👏

People were wanting to go all in on getting CMC…an elite RB (plus got back Mitchell)…now they're upset we used them against one of the worst run Ds in the league lol. Can't make this s**t up.

you damn well know if we sat back and threw the ball all game and lost, those same people would be having a fit.

This area has been the biggest drop off from when Mike McDaniel was here. I'm not implying he was the sole mastermind here but together WITH Kyle, this and their 4 minute offense were tops last year. Clutch.

We have WAY too many weapons to be just pounding it up inside and losing yards. Teams are getting far more with far less here.

So Kevin o'Connell was the real "dude" in LA too, eh

I am not disagreeing with you, but Kyle gets at least two more years with Lance so enjoy the ride lol

KS ain't going no where.
The malcontent forty whiners are delusional and ridiculous even after a WIN.. 🤣

Exactly. I question him all the time, but I know he's not going anywhere and don't want him to either. I just want to see him improving as we expect of our players just the same.

Well in fairness to Kyle - he traded for Lance and Lance was the starter. jimmy G ended up being the back up unexpectedly and then Lance was lost for the year. I can't blame Kyle for that aside running Lance way to much lol

Is Lance a FQB? No, he is a TBD

Ok and? That doesn't change the fact Kyle is actively trying to upgrade the position.

The prob I see.. JG is not under contract so a decision has to be made very soon on another QB. What do we do next year?

Door 1.. TL / Purdy
Door 2.. TL / JG again
Door 3.. TL / new guy

And who picks the new guy if we go that direction? I'm hoping it is not another KS QB decision.

Probably 1 or 3. It would I be a miracle if JG was back next year imo.

I think Kyle gets at least two years with Lance. We really won't know until then. Let's hope Lance is so good it's not even an issue.

Jimmy G is STILL QB1, you can only do so much with a limited QB like Jimmy regardless how many offensive weapons you have, he lacks arm strength and mobility to extend plays and extra time for players to get open on pass attempts. Those are KNOWN FACTS and the Reality.

Running the ball when you can and limiting Jimmy's pass attempts to around 25 and get the best attempts out of Jimmy is all you can do as the play caller for a QB1 game manager none probowler like Jimmy. Anymore on top of those facts especially when it's a WIN is pretty much malcontent ridiculousness by forty whiners really, it's stupid 🤣

facts bro. known facts and its stupid fr. on god they dont even know he's nothing more than 73 on madden lucky he isn't 45 like a rookie
Remember when Jed and Paraag almost hired Josh McDaniels in 2017?

They got lucky. Hiring a good coach is just pure luck. No one wants to go through Russian Roulette with coaches again. Thats why people defend Kyle. Easier to just dump on Jimbo and make him the scapegoat since hes not elite

He did check all the boxes. But for whatever reason Belichick assistants do not make good head coaches.

I know but being honest makes you a hater to some. I said jimmy would be the limiting factor for this offense. (Or the o line) He has actually looked better than his norm the last couple of weeks. Maybe he finally realizes this is it and let er' rip?

Nothings really changed with JG. He's always been able to string games together during the regular season. Now he has a crap ton of weapons to throw short to mid to so he is doing well. But he still isn't threatening anyone deep.

The speedsters are still standing on the sideline cause KS knows they are gonna run out of JG's comfort zone, even if single covered, by the time he hits his second read.
