I think this was a poor offensive showing by the 49ers. Had the Chargers been at full strength we may not have won with this crummy play calling.
How many catches did Deebo have? How many catches did Kittle have? It's almost like the 49ers don't know how to use this many weapons. 4 runs in a row? Hold my beer!
Why sign Deebo to that kind of contract when you have Jennings, Aiyuk, Gray and Kittle? It's not like Jimmy is gonna spread the ball around to everyone.

5.5 yards per play and almost 400 yards total offense. 37 to 23 time of possession.

The team barely won. The defense held this together as normal when Kyle can't put more points on the board. Too many weapons to look so mediocre on offense.

Aiyuk dropped a pass cause Kyle told him to? Mitchell didn't keep his footing cause Kyle told him to slip?

How many passes thrown to Deebo? How many to Kittle? I know this is a run centric team but then why even sign Deebo to that huge guaranteed contract if you plan to use him primarily as a RB?

Another malcontent forget that Jimmy wasn't suppose to be on this team anymore and Trey was QB1, until no other team wanted to trade for Jimmy and he took a huge pay cut to stay as the highest paid backup in the NFL and unfortunately Trey got hurt.

Right after the game, did Kittle say Jimmy is playing at a probowl level? Everyone knows Jimmy is Jimmy and Jimmy has limitations specifically his arm strength and mobility.

Every week Deebo, Kittle or CMC don't get a bunch of targets; people will complain. I said that the moment we started talking about CMC. Only one football people.
the only real issue was in the RZ and if Aiyuk scores on a easy as TD, people wouldn't be b***hing about scoring 3 TDs with two FGs. Or maybe they would because that's what people do…even after beating a 5-3 team with one of the best young QBs in the league.

A 5-3 team with major injuries. A team with an injured Mike Eilliams, an injured Keenan Allen, an Injured Gerald Everett, no Joey Bosa, etc. Basically a team of second stringers and It was closer than it should have been. Just saying.

You forget confidence, spirit and morale (like in War) as well as coaching, it was after all a 5-3 team.
It was a good competitive team win for the 9ers, enjoy and move on.

Fine. It was a win. But I still think it was a poor offensive showing. Of course I'll take it

Brandon Staley on #Chargers defense last night: "Schematically, that was as good of a plan that I've ever had, to be honest with you, since I've been calling defenses."

interesting.
would love to see WHY he thinks this way and what he did against Kyle's scheme/playcalling

Kittle on the post game with R. Harrison that chargers played a 3-4 and it was harder to do the play action. There was a few dumb plays I didn't like last night, one in particular running on the side K. Mack was with cmc it's like cmon man. Got the best LT in the game run his ass to the ground and run away from Mack not towards him.

Expectations vs Reality, Reality is Jimmy G is not a probowl QB and most likely will never be one.
Having many good to great options at offensive weapons is a good thing but a limited QB specifically
lack of arm strength and limited mobility can only do so much and is limited to how much he can take advantage with those options due to his limitations, both constraints affected by how much time he has to throw the ball before being pressured or sacked and accuracy is also a big factor especially when he throws high often, the only thing good Jimmy got going for him is his quick release..
The o line is decent this season but McGlinchey has been subpar, there is always that issue added on too on Jimmy 🤣
