It's time to protest against the tyranny of the running game and the OTs that expose our plays.

interesting.
would love to see WHY he thinks this way and what he did against Kyle's scheme/playcalling
Denver too. Both DC's were in our huddle on every play, it seemed.
a "good" plan...to LOSE hahaha
If Shanny said that after a loss he'd get roasted so hard
I do remember thinking watching the game that LAC is winning the coaching battle. We ran for 3.8 / carry. With a healthy CMC. With Deebo running. With Trent out there. With them ranked what.. dead last in rush D on YPC?
That's a win for LAC and what Staley was talking about imo. With no Keenan Allen or Mike Dub they didn't have much business keeping it as close as they did. Credit them for cooking up a strat to make our run game a slog.
To edit - they give up 5.4 YPC tied for dead last in football

I mean it's been an explosion. Our lack of the same probably causes Kyle to dial up more runs and play a little more fearful.
Can't quite put my finger on why their passing success is better. Must be that 5% difference on 1st down. Can't be any other factor but playcalling.
Something you'll never hear here under Kyle.

Harbaugh had the #1 passing DVOA?

Yeah you don't usually see a coach say that. Is this throwing the players under the bus? "My gameplan was awesome, don't know how we got 400 yards given up".

I think it's just a rare moment of honesty from the HC. No hidden subtext but there is a reason why Bill B is wise and doesn't say anything. Anything you say can and will be used against you, in the court of public opinion, as NFL HC or player in front of a mic. Use a few words to say nothing is best.. i.e. coach speak.
Just gonna take it one day at a time. Focus on getting better. Put one foot in front of the other. Gonna look at the film and improve our process. We are on to the next game. Etc.

Good question.
Not sure what that has to do with how Mike McDaniel's own players perceive his play calling vs. players here with Kyle.

They probably should have just put CMC in the slot all game and let Mitchell play RB. Those two had completely different games against the same defense in the same game running behind the same O line.

Kyle has decided if we don't throw the ball to George Kittle, we don't turn the ball over.

You mean if JG throws it other places than between the hashes he's not as predictable and we don't turn the ball over

Kyle has decided Aiyuk is WR1 and Juanan Jennings is WR2.

So Kittle never said that Kyle told him if we get this look and you run this route it's gonna be a touchdown?
