I loved Kyle's hire from day 1, but have been hard on him when he has a bad game…or two. But last 3 games…kyle has been on fire, and is calling a great game each week. He has been willing to open up his tendency to be conservative, but maybe that is because he has three #1 WRs in Deebo, Aiyuk, and McCaf. Besides that he has 2 # 1 RBs in Elijah and McCaf.
This has opened up TDs and catches for both JJ and # 85. Maybe that is what has brought kyle to opening everything up…plus, Jimmy has played terrific the last 3 games. OL has blocked out of their minds, and D has played lites out last 3 games. All is well with the world.

Mmm... I don't mind conservatism, generally... It's just fourth quarter conservatism that troubles me when we're in a league where guys like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are running around.
But with all these weapons... and a horizontal offense... and Jimmy playing really well... maybe this offense might take off start popping off for 30+ ppg and we don't need to worry about a slim lead in the fourth quarter anymore.

Great game plan and play calling tonight. Now the fire Shanahan crowd can take a week off
Believe it or not I didn't like the first 2 drives play calling - after that it got great
I agree. We have normally done the opposite, start fast and then stall the rest of the game. But it seems like Kyle has found a groove in the second half of game's recently. I rather that then go back to stalling in the second half.

Anyone know NC's main guy should we replace Shanny after this year?

That was much better from Kyle tonight. He finally got all our weapons Involved and we actually looked good because of it

People around here were acting like Kyle is as inept as Kliff Kingsbury or something

Kilff looked like he drank too much last night.

Which is ironic since some people around here want the 9ers to play offense like the Cards.
Spread isn't the way.

Look at all the folks in here in a hurry to repent. Pass pro looked solid, Jimmy played really well and we didn't have any turnovers. It was the players that made Kyle look like a great playcaller. Who would have thought?

Play calling this game wasn't even close to what we were complaining about last game

Could have fooled me. Doesn't matter though. Player execution or lackthereof has the ability to make the HC/OC look good or bad on a weekly basis.

Your premise is correct. No denying that. The fact we only called 7 run plays in 1st half is more than enough evidence to show the game was called differently than last week.
