The improvement has largley been on defense. The doom squad knows this. They also know many of us have been saying that we need to focus on offense early in the 2018 draft and free agency. Even before the regular season started many of us were saying this.
Doom squad also knows Hoyer was never intended to be our FQB and if doom squad can't tell the difference between Shanahan/Kelly's schemes they just don't understand what they're seeing. All they see is doom and gloom. As if this were the end of 2018 well into this entire rebuild.
Anyone with eyes can tell our offense is the weakest link on the team. This isn't rocket science. We need a FQB, large #1 WR opposite Garcon and better blocking inside.
For the 100'th time, we chose to address the NFL's worst defense. A historically bad 49ers defense in 2016. At this point people that support the new GM/HC can just copy/paste responses to the doom squad because they're just going to keep posting the same complaints all season long while ignoring the fact you can't entirely rebuild a team in one offseason. The same complains said 1000 different ways. Over and over. Non-stop. First thing in the morning till the laat posts at night in just about every thread.
Baalke didn't draft good offensive players for years but the problem is, he also left us with the NFL's wosrt defense. Stop denying how bad this roster was at the end of 2016.
I'm very happy with Garcon, Juice, Taylor and Kittle. I'm also looking forward to seeing how they address our offense in 2018. Like the doom sqaud, I've been waiting for an offense heavy draft for years. Especially at skill positions such as QB and WR.
We have obvious needs at QB, WR and G. The play design/calling isn't the issue here. Suggesting such only exposes a lack of understanding and or the desire to troll.
