Wasted seasons.....it sucks but that's the deal when you clean house. This is Year 1.

we were told after jh left. its the start of a rebuild.. we are losing but losing better. if that is not distorted logic not sure what is.

yes but thats what happens when you change GM and coaches/system

this isnt the singeltary to harbaugh transition where we had the players and just needed a coach

we have no players compare our roster to anyones we have a bottom 3 roster in nfl on both sides the only strength is front 7 which i would classify as simply above average

Then it becomes blame the coordinators,we have the talent.
Then it becomes blame the HC, cause we have talent.
Then it becomes fire the GM because he can't get talent for the new coach, who will be awesome.
then it becomes blame the posters who are negative/.realistic about our team and block them .lol

Judge talent how you want...some have said 1st and 2nd round picks are a guideline. If that's the case 2017 is the least talented of our last HC/GM rebuilds:

2005: 17 first and second
2011: 16 first and second
2017: 13 first and second

People on this forum just love to look for things to complain about.

Kyle Shanahan's offense clearly isn't the problem here.

I agree, one of the reasons I believe we have a bright future ahead

KS as both the HC and OC is tough right now.... not exactly inspiring in either role.

Bump Lynch down to hc and ks to oc. This team needs discipline and let ks call plays that might be his ceiling.

I don't think anybody could argue with that.... At best, I think play calling is the ceiling here.

This is the most idiotic s**t in this thread and that's saying a lot

32 offensive play callers in the NFL, and you're mad because of a suggestion he should be one of the 32 right now.....

Yeah, top 10 picks are where you get the difference makers. Look at our own recent history. When you start racking up many consecutive years of top 10 picks and they meet expectations, you're rolling. We've only had two years ago and last.

It's going to be a while folks.

He is a play caller.....and a damn good one.

I laugh at you because your overreactions on everything are f**king funny.

true.. hoyer is his hand picked boy. he would have to swallow some pride to admit he was wrong and to have the kid play at some point during the season.

Coulda salvaged it....mike Shanahan with Kyle at OC being groomed as future HC and Vic at DC for 2015 coulda been pretty nice. But Trent still had Jed's ear and his hardon for the Parcells way guide our moves. This I hold Jed accountable for.....blowing it all up I give him credit for. It's just a shame we all had to witness the rudderless squads that were '15 & '16.
man,, aside from gruden,. that is what i really wanted and thought would happen with older mike as the head coach. the cracks were appearing a bit in the 8-8 year but we were still set up to win and that is why i figured a nfl experienced coach would take this job

Hand picked Make it sound like he picked him over every guy in the league. Well, apparently Beathard was the only QB he wanted in the entire draft and traded up to get him. Beathard is more of a handpicked guy then Hoyer.

I would say KS targeted him as his QB considering he was signed on the first day of F/A.

I would say that is logical. he did not go shopping. he wanted hoyer. well he got him and now he has to live with that. so funny to see people get so bent out of shape when you dare try to hold him accountable for anything. if he would have waited and waited you could say,. well he settled for him. but no kyle did not mess around and bought him early. does sus have the picture of the press conference with all of our stars we signed?

BUT he drafted Beathard and traded up to do so. Only kept 2 QBs and one was the rookie.....he will not ride or die with Hoyer. Beathard will get playing time when he's ready. God damn these f**king narratives are laughable.
