Best coach in the NFC
FTFY. He's on track for the NFL though. That's for sure.
I said what I said. Andy Reid ain't doing this with his 3rd string QB
Fair take. I just mean he has to win it at some point no matter the QB to truly be considered the best in the NFL.
Reid being 1-4 in the playoffs during his time in KC also blew a 28pt lead in the playoffs, Much didn't change until he got maybe one of the greatest of all time at QB. Now they've been to 5 straight AFC champ games since Maholmes has been there. 1-1 in the Superbowl, but should be 0-2 and is now only considered a HOF coach cause of the ring.
Hopefully Kyle can get at least 1, because without that Ring he will never be considered a HOF coach and thats a sad reality
That's a 'sad' reality for players too. You can be the greatest player of all time but get stuck on a crappy team. But if Kyle wants to be a HOF HC, he's simply going to have to win one at least. He's had total control of the roster and coaching staff for 6 years. He's very close. As we know, finding another HOF QB isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. But plenty have won Superbowls without them too.
Unfortunately he's lost some good coaches too. Demeco is as good as gone after the 49er season ends. I think getting good coaching talent and attracting great football minds that can become good coaches is a hidden strength of Kyle.
Some possible future coaches for Kyle. Nick Mullens, Jimmy Garoppolo, Joe Staley (after he's tired of retirement), Richard Sherman, Alex Mack, Fred Warner, Frank Gore. Etc... he has to get a good DC to replace Demeco after this season. Its going to be interesting if he does to the defensive coaching staff what he did to the offensive coaching staff this last offseason.
