FTFY. He's on track for the NFL though. That's for sure.

I said what I said. Andy Reid ain't doing this with his 3rd string QB

Fair take. I just mean he has to win it at some point no matter the QB to truly be considered the best in the NFL.

Reid being 1-4 in the playoffs during his time in KC also blew a 28pt lead in the playoffs, Much didn't change until he got maybe one of the greatest of all time at QB. Now they've been to 5 straight AFC champ games since Maholmes has been there. 1-1 in the Superbowl, but should be 0-2 and is now only considered a HOF coach cause of the ring.

Hopefully Kyle can get at least 1, because without that Ring he will never be considered a HOF coach and thats a sad reality

Without seeing the film... I don't feel like the Cowboys did anything schematically, per se, that shut us down tremendously.
I think they were just playing with a ton of will and desire in the first half... and then they have a lot of speed in the linebacking corps to disrupt things. In the second half, they kind of fell off.

Eagles seem to have really good linebackers, but I don't think their linebacking corps are as strong as the Cowboys. (They do have a TREMENDOUS defensive line and cornerbacks though!)

I have a feeling Aiyuk and Deebo might have some difficulty against man coverage, but our other guys should do well underneath. Hopefully our run game just comes out strong. I think our team handles road games well.

I see this as more of a Kittle, Juice, Mitchell, and CMC game. Mix in some Deebo and Ray Ray and play action. I doubt we put up big yardage passing but we can set some things up if we get the other guys going. Id also love to see Gray opening things up or a shot or two to him.

What player in the NFL can cover Deebo on routes and reliably tackle him in the open-field?

Even if a team could play man on Aiyuk and Deebo how are they going to do that against Kittle, Juice, and CMC?

The speedy Dan Quinn defense was way more equipped than anyone else to man up and Kittle went off. And that's with them knowing first hand about the physicality our offense brings and thinking about it all offseason. Philly is going to be shocked when they can't cover or tackle anyone.

Top 5 for sure. I think he has to win at least one super bowl to be considered the best.

Hopefully In a few weeks we'll all be calling him the best.

If we were holding a re-draft for NFL coaches, Kyle would go first with the possible exception of Belichick. Reid was good was very McCarthy-ish until he got Mahomes. Let's not forget the Eagles ditched him then won a superbowl with Nick Foles.

He'd go first over Bellicheck just because of the age factor.

That's a 'sad' reality for players too. You can be the greatest player of all time but get stuck on a crappy team. But if Kyle wants to be a HOF HC, he's simply going to have to win one at least. He's had total control of the roster and coaching staff for 6 years. He's very close. As we know, finding another HOF QB isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. But plenty have won Superbowls without them too.

If he can run circles around that guy that's our ticket.

Right, our vet head coach should be able to out coach them. This is going to be a very tough game but we have a real chance! Let's get it!
We always have the coaching advantage, it's player execution that decides the success

And injuries. So far so good with 49er health. This year has been one of the healthiest except for the QB position.

Unfortunately he's lost some good coaches too. Demeco is as good as gone after the 49er season ends. I think getting good coaching talent and attracting great football minds that can become good coaches is a hidden strength of Kyle.

Some possible future coaches for Kyle. Nick Mullens, Jimmy Garoppolo, Joe Staley (after he's tired of retirement), Richard Sherman, Alex Mack, Fred Warner, Frank Gore. Etc... he has to get a good DC to replace Demeco after this season. Its going to be interesting if he does to the defensive coaching staff what he did to the offensive coaching staff this last offseason.

True. People already annointing him don't know what this game is about. It's about championships. Shanahan needs at least one. Without that one he's just Marty schottenheimer or Dan reeves. A loss sunday and no one is talking about how he's the best in the NFL.

To be fair every other Shanahan backup looked like hot garbage. There is a reason he was under 500 coming into the year.
