Until Kyle wins a SB he deserves to be fired

Haha. Not "good enough."

...yet.

This is the year that all changes though.

Translation..,,I've talked up the fact the niners have a ton of top shelf talent now, I like their OL now and if he doesn't win it all I'm going to go back to ragging on his ass

Nah. I only call the HC out when we're off to annual slow starts, racking up killer penalties, drops, starting the year off with a ton of injuries, gets too cute, going into a turtle shell, etc.

This year started no different but he's turned it into his best coaching year to date. Amazing 👏.

PS: I do like the OL this year...not sure if it's good enough yet but more hopeful than in the past.

So penalties, drops and injuries are the HC's fault? They sound more like poor player execution and freak accidents to me.

Only if it becomes a trend (in-season or annually) and/or it's at the top of the league.

Or because two of those three things could be because of having a whole new offensive coaching staff and that it takes time for them to gel with the players they are coaching. Could also be because we started off with a completely new interior o line and that takes time as well. Its never really about how you start but how you finish.
McCaffrey stacking the deck saved us. It's easy to laugh now at people that were critical of Kyle to start the year, but the criticism was absolutely deserved. From the Trey blunder (even if you think Trey looked good, Kyle was using him like an idiot), to pulling stunts like calling Coleman in to take carrie's from Mason, to the offense looking like crap, I don't see how some weren't calling him out.

We're all happy now, but before McCaffrey came around the season was not looking good.

Has Sirianni been using Hurts like an idiot? I watched a game this season where Hurts was running QB power just like Trey was.

Then KYLE did the work to help bring McCaffrey in. You are acting like McCaffrey just wandered over here on his own. That was one of the biggest seasonal trades ever and you must credit the Niners staff including Kyle for making it happen. Obviously.
You are literally trying to criticize the coach by using an example of something that HE did to fundamentally change this team. It makes no sense.

Hurts looks like a rb. He runs strong and he's fast. He delivers punishment.

Trey is none of that and he was getting hit hard because of it. Everyone was commenting (Steve Young, the fans, the guys announcing our games) and cringing at the hits Trey was taking

Did you miss the part where I said we're all happy now?

I'm saying the criticism before McCaffrey was warranted.

For someone that is happy now you sure are spending a lot of time complaining about him.

Oh yeah, absolutely. That part actually goes into why I also think he's had his finest year to date (e.g. 3rd QB, NFCW title, NFCCG, total assistant/coordinator staff turnover, refocus rebuild of the OL, etc). I don't know how a guy could overcome more? Truly transcendent, IMHO.

He also gets punished like when he injured his shoulder. Should Sirianni be blamed for that like Shanahan was with Trey?

Not at all. Jalen proved you can trust him, but nobody is immune to getting dinged up.

Trey showed that he's not a smart runner and he shouldn't be carrying the ball. Yet Kyle ran him like he's Jim Brown and the inevitable major injury came

People are acting like you were crazy if you had complaints to start the year. Just saying that's not the case

No those people were crazy. Certified.

And Trey has not earned Shanahan's trust in the short rhythm passing game so Trey had to make up for it with his legs. Kyle is tasked to find the best way he can to win with the personnel he has. With Trey, we were averaging 180 yards per game on the ground. So say what you want about Trey's athletism but it was working when looking at a production standpoint.

Yea he wasn't ready to play when it was time for him to takeover. That's not good lol. No matter how you look at it, with a SB caliber roster, it was a major blunder.

I can't take much away from rushing stats when he's only started and finished games against bottom feeder teams
