I posted stats prior to the game that showed Cowboys were best in the league against pre snap motion. And it showed on Sunday. Most likely due to Quinn being very familiar with it.

I was surprised that it was Juice and players that made Kyle go away from it. You'd think the coaching staff would have known that about he cowboys going into the game.

Great independent research. Whatchu got for Philly???

I didn't do the research lol I came across some stats that stood out to me and relayed hem on here. Felt like it was something to watch for.

Regarding Philly, I read somewhere that they struggle vs cover 3. That is something we like to run a lot so it could be favorable for us.

And Just saw JD video in which he notes that we used cover 3 to combat Justin field RPOs by dropping Hufanga into the box to help contain and limit the quick outside pass.

Someone posted on the WZ this week that PHI is ranked 20 something against 21 personnel and is one of the worse in the league against pre snap motion.

I saw the same. Appreciate you pointing those out too!

You covered their run defense the past 6 games too.

I wonder if Kyle goes less pre snap motion and just powers up straight ahead. The first sign will be the starting RG. If Brunskill is in there we might be doing more outside zone and pre snap. If Burford is in, it's power time! Burford had a much much better game than Brunskill last game...probably because we played to his football strengths. Just my take...

So Kyle showed this game to the team today

Thats what I was wondering. Wouldn't the bucs playoff game from last year be more relevant? But even then the Philly offense has improved and so has Hurts since that game.

Kyle said he showed the teams the past rival games against the Cowboys last week. I get that it's cool to see the history of it, but it makes little difference (imo) to today's rivalry. These players are more than motivated to win their own championships and make their own legacy's.

Debo, Kittle, Warner, Juice, Trent, Greenlaw, Aiyuk, CMC, Both Wards, Armstead, Bosa, McCloud, heck even McGglitch are all leaders that are willing to walk through fire to win a championship, I don't think they're sleeping on the history of the game or the magnitude of the moment.

Kyle needs to focus 100% on beating that Philly defense.

Philly was the #1 seed that year and Bucs were #2. They had to go into Philly and upset them in the NFCC, which they did 27-10.

also, just a fun fact - lynch was the safety for that bucs team and they went on to win the super bowl
He gave the most reasonable well-measured answer yet for why a neutral-site conf championship is stupid AF.

The relevance is it was an example of a team with a hellacious defense going into Philly who at the time were a high powered offense with a young-ish innovative HC for a trip to SB. John Lynch was basically the Bucs Fred Warner or maybe Jimmie Ward. It's relevant for inspiration.

I'll take a stab at it… they keep a relatively beefy five up front because they are poor against the run which leaves them with less speed and flexibility to deal with shenanigans (Shanahanigans?)
