But he has a history of questionable play selection in the most intense situations. Running when he should pass, passing when he should run. Some of it is also on the shoulders of the players (Jimmy G, OL) but some of it was downright bad decision making by the coach (not getting Deebo a single 4th quarter touch vs KC, not going for the 4th and 1 @ LAR 40 last year in the 4th quarter).

He needs to end this season by pulling ALL the right strings.

He already made mistakes by trying to be too "cute" vs Dallas. Juice admitted this in his postgame interview. He responded and so did the team.

KS can't "outthink" this. He is the better offensive mind and has the better offensive team. Go for the calculated kill.

Classic case of hindsight always being 20/20.

Hindsight is 20/20. Coaches are paid for foresight, however.

Coaches are paid to win games. This isn't college you don't need style points.
Be aggressive, but don't stray away from running the Ball either.

Let's see some of that creative play calling that got you labelled "offensive genius" to begin with.

I'm feeling confident about this game.

Who is talking about style points here?

There is a difference between a head coach and a fortune teller but you obviously don't know what that is. Go Niners!
Let's go Kyle, do your thang today!

The OC's job is literally supposed to be to predict what play is going to work and pick that one. I'm not sure why that concept is so difficult to understand for you.

Anyway, I think KS is a fantastic coach and playcaller overall. But, and like most coaches who lose big games, he can make mistakes. He has an all-star team on offense and defense. Need to pull all the right strings today.

I agree. I think a more aggressive approach to this game on offense is going to work. Don't let their D go downhill.

Their job is to choose the best play based on the opponents personnel and matchup advantages. They do not predict the future.
Would like if he just hired somebody to manage the timeouts. He's paid millions we can't just have someone paid solely to call timeouts correctly?

Let's see if we pound the rock with mason and grind a win today.
KS already making one MAJOR mistake. Should've challenged that, I was calling for it right away.

Yup. Huge.
Dumb Shanahan!

Use/waste a timeout and challenge!
I do think he's a good coach but he makes too many critical mistakes in crucial moments. It's a valid question if he can ever get out of his own head to win the big ones.
