The thing with Kyle is he is smart and creative BUT if you have a roster built to win and you come up short year after year maybe you need to try your luck somewhere else. You could argue we need a slot receiver who can run routes but really the team is more likely to decline than get better.

It's mostly we need a coach that knows that you can't run a lot of play actions on a team with 70 sacks. Or that your offense is too complex for a non genius QB to execute.

-Improved play at DT. The loss of DJ Jones was felt in how many times they let teams run up the middle.

-Further upgrades at CB, Ward was a huge positive step but they need to add to the position.
-Improved pass blocking at RG and RT. They need to decide if Burford is the future at RG or if they need someone better there. Is McGlinchey worth the big deal he's going to command or can they get better/similar performance for less by drafting a tackle?

Special Teams was still 24th ranked too.

Sadly, same exact issues as last year...ST, CB/S, OL, DT/ER.

Realistically though what teams have more talent overall than the niners though?

Other than QB what teams have more talent. The only one I can think of is arguably the eagles. Only because their defense and oline. Receivers are a wash and their RB is definitely worse than McCaffrey.

The team is a top 2 or 3 team talent wise l. If we can't win the big one do we realistically think it's a talent problem?

Plenty of teams have won with less talent.
