49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

He should be questioned as to why

Agree. This is just not acceptable when the QB is a rookie and the 3rd string guy. If that block is made and Purdy doesn't get hurt, the Niners win this game going away.

We have top 5 skill players but we don't have many to players in the trenches where it really counts. 2 weeks in a row our trenches looked pretty dam soft. Our d line isnt that great fellas. It's been a lot of scheme. Same for the o line.

Bosa and AA carried that D line all year. It would be great if we could get a real run stopper like DJ Jones and Drake hits the off-season hard.

lol 49ers are in the NFCC with their 3rd QB, forced to play with 4th QB that eventually also gets hurt, and people on here are crying about Shanny. 🤡 This fanbase deserves to never win another SB again.

Literally someone saying I'm sick of losing in the post season.

Love the team but man does this fanbase suck at times.

I loved how before halftime there were people b***hing cause they didn't think Kyle was gonna be aggressive. Then he was aggressive and JJ fumbled the ball. Then people are like why not just be conservative and go into halftime down 7.

He was aggressive with Josh F'ing Johnson but not with his starters, whether its jimmy, brock, or trey. Thats just pure stupidity.

Shanny's situational awareness has got to be some of the worst in the league.

You don't watch many 49er games so you

Absolutely need another DT to shore up the middle.

Imagine saying something so out of touch to a Jets or Lions fan.

His first quarter is just another reason why he's not an elite coach.

the non challenge then he has a whole week to put Kroft on Reddick?

Its no coincidence that his quarterbacks get hurt almost every year dating back to his days as the OC with Washington

This is the post right here fan boys!

Kyle has been consistently aggressive with Brock before half when we get the second half kickoff.
3 or better conference Finals in the last 4 years without a star QB. Shanny is a top 3 coach. People just need to understand that the days of a dynasty are over with. You are going to lose. If you have a coach that is consistently a contender though just be patient because he will likely punch it in.

I look forward to you being our new head coach, also I have never really seen you around here except late in the playoffs.

I've been around for years.

clear sign you've lost the argument when you resort to "you're not a regular poster here!"

But the areas that get you over the hump are the lines, coverage and QB...and health and discipline.

ShanaLynch still has a ways to go, IMHO.

Shanahan's "Learning",....lol.

Maybe you can be a consultant.

6 all pros in skill positions. How much more learning does he need

Still waiting on you?? You DEMANDED last week that he be aggressive and pass the ball @ the end of halves with TOs left.

What happened this game????

I really think it's just asking too much. I can't really see the team getting better talent wise than this year. It's kind of a sad reality.

The roster was loaded. It's hard to be optimistic honestly that we will somehow load up more and just demolish teams next year.

The real f up was the lance trade up. If we hadn't done that and had Micah Parsons opposite bosa we would have been unstoppable. It's sad and hindsight is 20/20 but I guess the only hope is as the talent diminishes Brock somehow makes up for it.

Its really irritating seeing huge game plan holes and coaching f ups. The lance injury, the deebo usage, the cowboys game plan and timeout usage, the long developing plays to start games vs teams with good pass rush. How Josh Johnson was used. Thinking he could just step in and run his offense. Making Johnson throw the ball in the two minute drill this week but not letting purdy do it last week.

It just all adds up to repeated coaching mistakes.

The talent on the team is undeniable but the coaching has massive, game losing, player crippling mistakes repeatedly. And it does not take a genius to predict all of the above would happen and would not work.

I just don't think the staff at this point can call 4 mistake free games against 4 good teams.

Man, I wish we could have played them straight up. I think we would have had a legit chance to win this one.

I think we destroy them if Purdy doesn't get hurt. Our D was playing f**king great. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over this loss as it was just not in our favor this year. At least we bounced the Seahawks and Cowboys from the playoffs.

That's the right attitude for sure. With all the extreme lessons Kyle is getting, he's going to be the wisest NFL coach ever by the time he's 45.
People think he should be fired.
