Classic turtle thinking. We need to score tds not worry about what dallas might do. Holy moly.
II'm going to quote myself so I can provide what I think is the most egregious example of turtle play calling in the entire game.
It came in the fourth quarter as we're winding down the clock it's third and eight with about a minute something left no timeouts for Dallas. The ball is going to stay on the ground and we need 8 yards. Now what do you call? Do you sneak in a pass play? Too risky. Kyle calls a line plunge. Gets 6 inches.
Now why do that? Why not call a play that might get eight yards on the ground? Why not give it a shot and do something positive to get the first down? It all worked out in the end. But that decision irked me. If Kyle wants to win a Super Bowl he needs to lose that kind of thinking in my opinion.

Eh, not sure about that. I think their DL was too much for our OL to deal with overall.
Would have been much closer for sure.

Literally someone saying I'm sick of losing in the post season.
Man, I wish we could have played them straight up. I think we would have had a legit chance to win this one.

That's the right attitude for sure. With all the extreme lessons Kyle is getting, he's going to be the wisest NFL coach ever by the time he's 45.
"Extreme Lessons".....lol.
Offseason expertise, here we come.

Bosa and AA carried that D line all year. It would be great if we could get a real run stopper like DJ Jones and Drake hits the off-season hard.
The Eagles have 3 guys with 10 plus sacks. We aren't anywhere near that. We need a legit vet pass rusher to go along with Bosa. Today our dline was dominated. Didn't make any big plays. s**t the secondary was the best unit. Eagles o line dominated. Our guys didn't make the big plays in the big moments. Super Bowl they didn't make them. Chris Jones did. Last year Aaron Donald made them. This year Reddick made them. As much as I love AA and Bosa they didn't make those plays.

Love the team but man does this fanbase suck at times.
HHolding staff accountable? How does that suck. Stop kissing Kyle's ass and ask him to get better if he can

Imagine saying something so out of touch to a Jets or Lions fan.
This.

Absolutely need another DT to shore up the middle.
Hopefully Davis is that guy. Id still draft another DT however and see if we can get another Arden Key like signing.

Ya. We never had any depth that D line after week 10. Hyder totally burned out ebukam not really the guy who's going to do it. We were exposed today

That works when it's not the same things killing you every year. Unfortunately for us we keep coming up short over and over without fixing the biggest problems.
QB is still an unsettled issue, the OL is still a major problem and we keep seeing this team stick with players that are constantly injured.
They need to come to the realization that these areas need to be fixed and their mindset needs to change.

ShanaLynch still has a ways to go, IMHO.
I really think it's just asking too much. I can't really see the team getting better talent wise than this year. It's kind of a sad reality.
The roster was loaded. It's hard to be optimistic honestly that we will somehow load up more and just demolish teams next year.
The real f up was the lance trade up. If we hadn't done that and had Micah Parsons opposite bosa we would have been unstoppable. It's sad and hindsight is 20/20 but I guess the only hope is as the talent diminishes Brock somehow makes up for it.
Its really irritating seeing huge game plan holes and coaching f ups. The lance injury, the deebo usage, the cowboys game plan and timeout usage, the long developing plays to start games vs teams with good pass rush. How Josh Johnson was used. Thinking he could just step in and run his offense. Making Johnson throw the ball in the two minute drill this week but not letting purdy do it last week.
It just all adds up to repeated coaching mistakes.
The talent on the team is undeniable but the coaching has massive, game losing, player crippling mistakes repeatedly. And it does not take a genius to predict all of the above would happen and would not work.
I just don't think the staff at this point can call 4 mistake free games against 4 good teams.
You don't think we can improve upon Kinlaw, Brendel, Burford, McGlinchey, Ebukam, Lenoir, J.Ward, Jennings, Moseley, Mitchell, etc. plus better rotational depth by the end of the season?
I do. You never stop trying and giving yourself the best shot.

We had to rush Hurts different than they got to rush Purdy. We weren't gonna let him step up to scramble we got to point and forced him to roll out where he is a much weaker passer. If we rushed for sacks he gashes the defense.

Kalia Davis is less a run stopper and a guy that can quickly penetrate and reach the QB. Still extremely useful but I want to see them try to find another DJ Jones, a powerful guy that can just swallow up RBs going up the middle.

Differences in coaches apparent already in the KC game. Reid throws a challenge flag on almost an identical pass play as the one Shanny did not throw a flag on. Pass was called incomplete this time but Reid is not about to be jobbed where Kyle just bends over and takes it.

Defense was trying too hard since they knew it was on them to make plays.

Talk all the improvement you want,...but when your 3 top QBs are out after the 1st drive and the one you brought in late in the season goes out concussed....none of that stuff really matters vs. a team like the Eagles.
You are always trying to improve everything,...no doubt. But now is not the time to pretend like we knew all along that the roster can improve because....CONTEXT.
I was grateful that we were even in this game.

Do what it takes to fix the OL. We can't go through another season of "what Ifs" at the QB position.
With better protection, the Qbs would most likely stay healthy and us as fans are looking forward to another super bowl appearance.
What you don't do, Is Invest all that draft capital of a QB and then expect OL like Glinch, Burford and Brunskill to keep them upright.
