Bosa and AA carried that D line all year. It would be great if we could get a real run stopper like DJ Jones and Drake hits the off-season hard.

The Eagles have 3 guys with 10 plus sacks. We aren't anywhere near that. We need a legit vet pass rusher to go along with Bosa. Today our dline was dominated. Didn't make any big plays. s**t the secondary was the best unit. Eagles o line dominated. Our guys didn't make the big plays in the big moments. Super Bowl they didn't make them. Chris Jones did. Last year Aaron Donald made them. This year Reddick made them. As much as I love AA and Bosa they didn't make those plays.

That's not true. DL made some really big plays in the first half, such as Bosa's sack at their own goal line. Kept it 7-0 until MCM tied it up. Then you had the penalties on the Eagles next drive, mostly not on the DL who were getting held like crazy (playoff football, I know offensive holding is rarely called). Then Johnson fumbles the snap, and that is when the game was *really* over. Hard to blame the DL when the offense couldn't do a damn thing aside from one drive on the back of CMC. Which was die to QB injury, not scheme or overall talent, aside from the right side of the OL, which we all know could use an upgrade.

Philly got handed the breaks, and took advantage of them. Sucks, but there it is.

If Shanny keeps coaching like he does one of these years those breaks will go his way, and Niners will win. See: Reid, Andy.

Do what it takes to fix the OL. We can't go through another season of "what Ifs" at the QB position.

With better protection, the Qbs would most likely stay healthy and us as fans are looking forward to another super bowl appearance.

What you don't do, Is Invest all that draft capital of a QB and then expect OL like Glinch, Burford and Brunskill to keep them upright.

You mean like the Eagles and Chiefs who have the best OLs and zero qb injuries?

A good center can be found but finding a legit tackle will be really hard.

Literally both QBs were hurt

The OL isin't broken though and again,...you're ALWAYS trying to take on guys and develop them.

But some magical quick fix @ any one position just isin't there. QBs get hurt...it is what it is.

Exactly.
I said this in the game thread, but imagine the butterfly effect if Shanahan challenged the catch in the first quarter. They don't score and Purdy doesn't get hurt. Everything changes.

Correct...I should've said not enough big plays Andy Reid won with another team tho. I want KS to win with my team

We haven't had a QB stay healthy since 2019. You don't find that concerning?

Lol. I think he's being sarcastic.
man its tough to support this coach.
1) Missed challenge: Eagles are rushing to line-up is a big clue. At worst you lose one challenge and one TO if you are wrong. Throw the flag and see what happens even without a review. This changed the entire game.
2) Back TE and then no one to block their BEST PASS RUSHER: Ultimately on HC but maybe purdy should have noticed f**king kroft on reddick and been like check down or hot route immediately
3) Hurry up offense with Josh Johnson after one completion. Dude was nervous as f**k and we had 3 timeouts. Call a proper play with a huddle and then use the timeouts as needed. Also all the early throws with JJ when we could have mixed in most runs. Dude had 3 delay of game penalties because he was about to s**t himself knowing a pass play was called.

I agree 100 percent!! He lost the game in that split second

LOL

It's like those injuries to Hurts and Mahommes didn't matter, only because they were lucky enough to not be season ending like the 49er QB injuries were. Trade foot injuries between Lance and Mahommes and where would the Chiefs be?

Instead on the exact same play Kittle, Williams, Deebo, Aiyuk and CMC all tear their ACLs celebrating the challenge going our way.
