With better protection, the Qbs would most likely stay healthy and us as fans are looking forward to another super bowl appearance.

What you don't do, Is Invest all that draft capital of a QB and then expect OL like Glinch, Burford and Brunskill to keep them upright.

The OL isin't broken though and again,...you're ALWAYS trying to take on guys and develop them.

But some magical quick fix @ any one position just isin't there. QBs get hurt...it is what it is.

The OL Is built to run block tho. They don't seem to hold up again the pass when really needed too.

What is the concern? Did you see all 4 injuries this year?

Let's not pretend like all 4 of them got beat up in the pocket until things collapsed. That was Steve Young ala the late 90's.

That's not at all what happened with our 4 guys that were injured this year.

This is a physical sport. Guys get hurt.
One thing is for certain we will need a better back up!!!

You mean like the Eagles and Chiefs who best OLs and zero qb injuries?

Literally both QBs were hurt

And Mahommes is hobbled.

Burford to RT and your boy at RG

I keep hearing people wanting Burford at RT. I know he played both positions in college but why do you think he's better off at tackle than guard? I also hope you are right.

I think it's the football gods punishing this team for having fans like JoseCortez

I said this in the game thread, but imagine the butterfly effect if Shanahan challenged the catch in the first quarter. They don't score and Purdy doesn't get hurt. Everything changes.

Instead on the exact same play Kittle, Williams, Deebo, Aiyuk and CMC all tear their ACLs celebrating the challenge going our way.

Lol, this would have happened

I agree 100 percent!! He lost the game in that split second

Eh, we have been seeing the same Issues at the QB situation since 2017 when It comes to Injuries.. Is that just bad luck?

The majority of the issues have been dumb luck. No amount of spending money or picks on the o line will fix that.

There is no magic answer here.
Everyone who is blaming Kyle for not challenging it. Hufuanga is staring right at it and doesn't say anything. Why would you challenge it. Just because a guy is yelling to get on the ball after a big play? If you did that get ready to challenge a lot of plays every game

1) Missed challenge: Eagles are rushing to line-up is a big clue. At worst you lose one challenge and one TO if you are wrong. Throw the flag and see what happens even without a review. This changed the entire game.
2) Back TE and then no one to block their BEST PASS RUSHER: Ultimately on HC but maybe purdy should have noticed f**king kroft on reddick and been like check down or hot route immediately
3) Hurry up offense with Josh Johnson after one completion. Dude was nervous as f**k and we had 3 timeouts. Call a proper play with a huddle and then use the timeouts as needed. Also all the early throws with JJ when we could have mixed in most runs. Dude had 3 delay of game penalties because he was about to s**t himself knowing a pass play was called.

He's overrated and problematic at this point.

Lance and Purdy as 1 & 2 (or 2 & 1) is pretty good. Better than most teams. If there's a 3rd string guy next year it won't be Johnson.

Glinch gets tossed around like a ragdoll, especially on 3rd and long. That's not bad luck.
