Yes, that all falls on Kyle as well. Without those huge mistakes we might have won the game. I don't know what the answer is but Kyle definitely needs to answer for the mistakes he's made this season.
Lol he's proven to be much more than a good coach. Just saying ..

There is an outlet. The advantage you have with someone like a Brady or Rodgers is those players think outside of Kyle's limited scope. They have the ability to improvise and change up the play based on what they see.
Kyle is his own worst enemy. Maybe getting someone in that can think beyond his playbook is what this team needs to get over the top. I don't think guys like Trey or Brock will get better bc they're young and will only follow through with what Kyle tells them to do. It's why Jimmy never got better in the years he has played here. He couldn't think outside the box.
if your theory was correct, and I suspect it is not..... if Shanny was "holding the offense back" to a point that Brady or Rodgers innate level of improve could free the offense, shouldn't Brady or Rodgers's base level of performance be better then what Brock put up this year? It is not like Brady or Rodgers put up more points then Brock this year.
The next question to ask, since neither you or I or anyone that is posting here knows, is what is Kyle's scope. We have no clue what his scope is....makes it hard to call it "limited".
Don't you think it is a tad short sighted to define what Kyle's ability to develop a QB is based on Jimmy G when Jimmy has never been able to stay on the field for either of the teams he played for? Especially given the performance of Brock?
I get you have your agenda here to trash Shanny, but don't you think it is kind of hilarious that you both Trash Shanny, Trey and Brock's ability to develop or be developed.... then all white knight for Brady and Rodgers....who the Shanny Developed Brock has already out performed this season....lol.

How about you realize the league ain't the same. It's built off having an elite QB now. Ya'll think Brock or Jimmy are "good enough" but in reality if you don't have an elite QB you win NOT be riding to the SB every yr.
people not realizing how hard it is to win in the NFL is what is laughable. Then trying toss out some trash takes about how it's just the coach lol. Ungrateful fan base is all I see from a handful of you

I see the 10 members of kyle haters club are out in full force lol. Crickets since October, only to crawl out of their cave and act like they know more than anyone else. f**king lame.
I'm sure ya'll were pouting in the corner when they won 12 games in a row and unlike 28 other fan bases you get to experience NFCC games and trips to the SB…ungrateful, ya'll don't deserve a good coach/team. Maybe go root for the NY teams and experience some real fan heartbreak.

Kyle is the Jimmy Garoppolo of HC's...can go on a great winning roll, plays best when his back is against the wall, can roll up elite stats, and play with the best of them. But in the moments you need him most, he's not quite the guy to get you over the hump and it's 100% mental.
I still believe you can win a Superbowl with both under the right circumstances though. I still believe in Kyle. But sometimes he needs to be saved from himself and his blinders-focus on play calling.

Go away
The 49ers ran into the most stacked roster in the league yesterday, and had to face them with their 4th string QB and then really no QB.
How dare Kyle not beat a team that went 15-1 with their starting QB….with a collection of Mr. Irrelevant, a guy who's played for over half the league and last starting gig was for the Los Angeles Wildcats, plus tossing in our RB at QB?

Ultimately its on Kyle and Lynch to fix the offensive line. At a certain point, you can't just cover your ears and blame "fluke injuries" for all of your quarterbacks getting hurt.
Not sure how they're going to fix it without any cap space and draft capital, but they signed up for the job and put themselves in this position.
Sign Tom Brady. Keep Lance and Purdy. I am under the assumption that all three will get some playing time next season. I am tired of free rushers getting to the QB or our backup tight end trying to block beastly pass rushers, but it is what it is. I don't expect that to change

Who else hated him allowing that delay of game when it was 7-0? You get a short field with JJ, you need to take full advantage. Not save timeouts for a last minute JJ drive (which blew up in his face).
We got to the 34 yd line, and Kyle just lets the play clock run out
Then we are forced to pass, of course JJ is sacked, and we punt. I know we don't win anyways, but this guy needs to be much smarter in the big game. s**t like that will get us beat in close games.

is tho NY?
The more things change the more they stay the same....
You need the QB, but still overall talent is a must....
It is almost like having a Joe Montana or a Steve Young then surrounding them with epic gobs of talent matters.
People act like the 80s teams didn't loose....that is especially hilarious given how the 80s Super Bowl window was wrecked by QB injury. I guess Bill Walsh just couldn't keep Montana Healthy.
Let's not even talk about the Hurdles of Steve Young (again missing a serious post season run do to injury.... Bono was ROBBED!).....
I think fans use to realize how hard getting to the Super Bowl is... Shanny has them spoiled by get them as close as he does with a revolving door at QB.

You can be unsatisfied with simply being in the playoffs and still recognize that your team made it to the NFCCG with its 3rd string QB due to the coach doing an excellent job.
These things aren't mutually exclusive.

No he's not. He's built an excellent roster here, and he's forgotten more football than fans that say this kind of stuff will ever know.

Insanity man. It's truly mind-boggling to me how any functional human could still sit here and put the loss on Kyle. Whatever though.. off to scout prospects.. My only way to cope now.
