There is zero doubt in my mind the winner of the Trey/Brock battle will outplay Tom Brady next year. Signing Tom Brady would be the single dumbest move this organization has made since Lawrence Phillips.

People get so touchy about PFF. Its almost like one of those 80s comedies

People get touchy when you use PFF to lecture to 49er fans about who is better when everyone on here watches every game and knows who is.

JJ is garbage
No clue wtf Jordan Mason didn't get 50-100 Carry's this year
Tough loss. Would have liked to see best on best. Better team won, but 49ers didn't even make them earn it
There were some mistakes sure. But some unknowns. I think it's fair to say the majority of us love Brock but each passing game was a new insight to his level of experience. A lot of Brock for president stuff was happening and it was an awesome story as well but there we're some signs even starting at Seattle. Be it Brock or be it Trey another full year of development needs to occur.
Im not going to slam Kyle. I think we are very lucky but on the other hand we cannot seem to get to and complete the dance. Can you be content as a fan another five years getting to and losing NFC championship game or even worse SB.
As good as our team is and has been it never feels like a KC type franchise. There is something missing. And to be very honest not sure what it is. Please, I understand we lost our QB yesterday but it went beyond that.

Eh its on you if you want to bury you hand in the sand. Its mostly basic numbers not come crazy advanced stat. They had similar numbers. But because one had a narrative attached to him and one didn't, everyone fell in love with the unknown. And I'm not even a big Jimmy fan anymore (ready for him to be on anther team) but the numbers are what they are. Was Brock better? Yes, but marginally. That might be enough in a Shanahan offense. We will see.

What exactly are you basing that on?

Bengals have a quality QB and a good team overall. No SB titles. The Bills have a talented QB with a cannon for an arm. No SB titles. KC with one of the most amazing QBs and a great coach have one SB title.
Super Bowls aren't easy to win. The Niners aren't the only talented team that can't win another one.

This is the insanity of the zone.
1. Trey, an unproven athlete playing the qb position who has shown us absolutely nothing is going to outplay the greatest qb of all time.
2. A coach who has zero superbowl wins unde his belt is elite.
Unbelievable.

Shanny will not win a SB with his current setup an strategy. He's had more than enough chances. He always does just enough to lose only when it matters.
he's a great offensive play caller, but that is just one phase of the game and the other phases+injuries are why we haven't won. Until he accepts help an change in those other phases we won't win.

Stop acting like this is normal across the league

we all know no coach directly causes injuries but all also do know shanahan refuses to protect his qbs an refuses to address our injury epidemic. Look where it's gotten us.
wev had chances. Wev gotten far.
We won't win without changing that.
