Any debate on the decision to go hard with Josh Johnson at the end of first half, instead of playing for halftime down 7?

He's a dope. Went ultra conservative with Brock last week vs the boys then does the opposite with Josh Johnson. Guy should not have been Allowed to attempt a pass.

There's 100 run concepts he could have used instead. Run left, run right, screen left, screen right, read option, wildcat, pitch, jet sweep. Etc.. all don't involve Johnson having to do anything but manage.

I like this take as there is a certain inconsistency with being conservative vs DAL with BP and aggressive vs PHI with JJ.

lol, oh now not being conservative is the issue..

I can be honest and say I was in favor of pushing it. Announcers mentioned the dilemma at the start of the drive. I can see folks and actual coaches, playing that different.
we had a good start to the drive.. Josh decide he wanted to go home early
Having Josh Johnson take a shotgun snap is being too aggressive?

Brendel Is a journeyman who actually looked decent tbf.
Burford Is still young, so maybe he has potential?

Replacing Kin, whilst finding a way to upgrade the ST would still be an Improvement, would It not?

I know It's not easy replacing starters In this league, but that's why you have the draft and free agency.
no no no, don't back pedal now. 49ers look into upgrading all the time win or lose

You and NC clearly posted what needs to be done and gave half sided opinions.. Pointing something out does not solve anything

You didn't answer my question?

By replacing Kin and upgrading the ST, would that not be considered an Improvement?

You need a better o line to accomplish that. not to mention you are going up against a good Eagles team that is expecting the run. run the wildcat and read option with who?

Not that so much, more having him drop back and go thru progressions.. KS def made a choice to dial up some downfield throws before half. It backfired bigtime. If he does his normal conservative stuff, we likely go in down 7. Instead we went in down 14 and JJ's confidence shaken totally.

to edit - you can hear on the broadcast they mentioned he took his eye off the snap to hurry up and get a start on his progressions

Someone reasonable finally shows up. Not like the same 5-7 posters who are still sitting on Kyle's 3 incher

Kyle f**ked up massively. Take the game into the 2nd half down by 7. You get the ball first. You have f**king Josh Johnson at qb. Your defense has been playing pretty damn well to this point.

Nope. Not Kyle. Moron.

Majority of the forums supports Kyle. Majority of this fan base supports Kyle. Majority of the NFL thinks Kyle is a very good coach. It's literally the same 5-7 people who are completely clueless and want Kyle gone.

And he wouldn't take his eye off the snap on a run play outta shotgun?

Is there any mistake a player can make you don't put 100% on Kyle?

welp, you only go through your progressions on a pass play

i don't put everything 100% on KS.. I have JJ takes in the JJ thread.. JJ being Josh Johnson

Be one thing if they can make an intelligent argument. But since they are incapable it's left just for trolling.

Here's some thoughts/questions on offense ....

Are our qb's hit/ pressured at a higher rate that other teams? Is that data available?

I get the whole freak injury thing, but most injuries happen with contact and our qb's seem to get a lot of contact....
Early on we could all see the right side of the line was a s**t show early on. We must upgrade RT and pass protection overall.

Our offense is loaded at the skill positions, but it doesn't matter if the line sucks. That's it - UPGRADE the offensive line.

You have to receive the snap on every play. To excuse that because a pass play was called is ridiculous.
