Burford Is still young, so maybe he has potential?
Replacing Kin, whilst finding a way to upgrade the ST would still be an Improvement, would It not?
I know It's not easy replacing starters In this league, but that's why you have the draft and free agency.
You and NC clearly posted what needs to be done and gave half sided opinions.. Pointing something out does not solve anything

No one said it was easy. We have a number of draft picks. Maybe we find a few gems with those 5th rd picks?
I'm just saying if it's that hard to come up with a better player, is that position really the issue.
There will be a lot of changes next season, so that will mean you will be ecstatic for the new season right ?

I never said "easy" I said replacing Kin and upgrading the ST should be the "easiest" part of the off-season.
I'm sure we all know how hard It Is finding good OL... but nothing wrong In at least trying to Improve those areas of the team imo

The 11 penalties cost the 49ers 81 yards, both the highest in a game from the 49ers since their Week 1 loss to the Chicago Bears.Not only was the number of penalties an issue, but the time as well. As mentioned, the defense did what they could, but frustration settled in, and it resulted in some poorly timed penalties.

All the people criticizing, Kyle Shanahan for blocking Hassan Redick with their tight end, need to be criticizing any team that runs effective play action passing all season long

There's a reason that Shanahan disciples running his offenses are taking over the league… It's because it works, not every time, but that is The basics of running outside zone and play action pass. You have to count on your TEs and RBs to occasionally block good pass rushers…

It's a debate. Joe Thomas on one side. Howie Long on the other. Sometimes there is not a 'right' answer. Just a dif opinion / flip side of the coin. Long def said at halftime we effed that up from a scheme point of view.

Kyle Shanahan won't be sleeping much this offseason. It's been a challenging 6 seasons. His nightmares will include Brock's replay of getting injured over and over again.

I would agree. For a team with heavy run splits and quick YAC throws... it shouldn't be nearly as difficult as we make it seem.
