Offensive line should be the focus this off-season.

Yes, and an impact pass rusher.

My only knock on KS is that he and JL need to get a bunch of big, smart, mean, strong, fast mambo-jambas on the OL, like NC has been incessantly yapping about forever.

LMAO. That's one way of putting it.

Josh fumble gave them points. Period.

Calling a shotgun snap to a 15 year vet QB isn't a bad call. Good Lord.

We gotta our asses kicked by the one team that has arguably the best OL/DL in the league. That was always my fear, while everyone else was calling them frauds.

No question. They had the DL Lynch was jealous over. And the OL Kyle isn't interested in obtaining.

Kyle isn't interested in having a top 5 pick, 2nd rounder, 3rd rounder, 6th rounder and undrafted guy on the O line?

Sure seems like the 9ers have comparative investment. Perhaps the Eagles get more credit for whiffing on a 1st round tackle.

Well I was thinking we better be careful here

Of course it wasn't the sack/fumble or int I felt coming but Josh did find a way to blow it all together. We've seen Kyle go conservative so many times in that situation.

Even if we don't count that, he still handed them 7 and took 3-7 points from us in the first half. Just can't have a 10-14 point swing like that in the playoffs.

This would've been a solid post if it was true.

Traded for the best tackle in football. Spent a first round pick on a RT. Spent a 2nd round picks on a G. Spent a 4th(?) on another G. I guess center could have been better, But here's NC again thinking we could just have All pros at every position on the OL.

Other teams get credit for 1st round busts as long as they are O lineman.

Solid Oline that managed to get 4 different QB's hurt this season....

Maybe the issue is the scheme?

How often does that honestly happen....4 different QB's hurt 3 of which end up with season ending injuries.

Really was a big backfire at end of half. 7 point hole feels doable. One weird bounce like the blocked punt vs GB last year and we are tied. 14 point hole with JJ completely rattled after the turnover felt like climbing Everest.

If Josh fumbles a running snap you'd blame Kyle for not taking a knee. How it goes.

Exactly. People cry just to cry and act like they know better than Kyle. Kyle expects his players to execute, that is what they are paid to do. He puts them in position to succeed 99% of the time.

Oline isn't to blame for Trey getting hurt on a designed run.
Oline isn't to blame for Jimmy refusing to throw the ball away.
Oline isn't to blame for Purdy getting injured when the player that hit him was blocked by a TE.

Two of those three injuries could be tied directly to the scheme.

Did we not watch the same Eagles game? Hurts took some hits on those RPOs runs. They run it all the time. Josh Allen does the same thing as well. Other QBs do them to. You call play to your players strengths.

Injuries happen. Some are just unlucky and we've been really unlucky. I mean look at Burrow, dude gets hit / sacked a lot and is still healthy.
They really got to take a look at scheme, blocking schemes, TE's blocking, protecting the QB more. At this point it's not just bad luck. I kind of like Shanahan overall. But this injured QB thing has to get better. You can't literally be on your 5th string QB CMC emergency backup. That's just absurd. I've never heard of a team in my life going through 4 QB's with injuries. Then being on a 5th string emergency backup. How many times have you seen that as long as you have been watching the NFL? It's not just a fluke anymore. It happens to every QB they have. Some of them very serious injuries. We need to reevaluate here.
