-Kyle Juszcyck
-Brandon Aiyuk
-Arik Armstead
-Dre Greenlaw
-Charvarius Ward
-Jimmie Ward
-Talanoa Hufanga
-Robbie Gould

But Shanahan couldn´t win the Super Bowl with this roster because he decided to block Reddick with Kroft on a long-developing play.

We can give Shanahan the most talented roster ever and he still would find a way to screw it in the biggest stage of the season. If we haven´t won the Super Bowl in the last 4 seasons it has been because of Shanahan.

Has Shanahan built a great team?......well yeah but after 6 seasons the goal isn´t about building a great team because after 6 seasons the goal is about winning the ring and Shanahan has fell short every season despite having an inmensenly talented roster.

How many current coaches would win the Super Bowl with this roster?...Belichik?...Reid?...Carroll?...Tomlin?....Harbaugh?...Payton?

We may have an even more talented roster next season if we make the right moves but at the end we will depend on Shanahan deciding to pass on a 2nd & 5 when the other team hasn´t stopped the run in the entire game or deciding to punt on 4th & 1 on the opposite 40-yd line or giving Deebo just one touch in the 4th quarter or deciding to block a top 3 pass-rusher with a terrible blocking TE on a 7-step play-action play.

6 seasons and no rings yet. Everything else is just

Harbaugh only got 4 years.

Harbaugh really only got 3 years. They let him lame duck for some of his 4th year, but he only got 3 legit seasons.

When you have a big fanbase you have a larger share of idiots too. Shanahan would be the hottest HC candidate in years if the 49ers were stupid enough to let him go.

Oh no doubt. I'd keep Kyle until he says I want out.

Agree 💯%, bigger fan base, more of every kind of fan. It's OK, that means more sales of 49er gear and also more fans at enemy stadiums to make noise for the visiting team. People who want one of the best coaches in the NFL to be let go are usually not the most knowledgeable fans in 49er land. Most 49er fans are happy with Kyle.

So.what specific change needs.to be made to the scheme to cure the injury issues?

Irony meter exploded with the simple minded comment.

Ignoring record breaking data to just chalk it up to luck or some other superficial one-level line of thinking is just that, simple-minded.

If you're asking me what I specifically would do to break a 9 year injury streak, that's what the injury thread is for in discussing the numerous theories and research akready presented in there.

As to scheme? I only said scheme shouldn't be excluded as one possible factor in the injuries. I don't see the scheme changing anytime soon. Nor should it.

So all you can really do is guard against it and continue to stack as deep of depth as possible. 3-deep on every position as much as possible and ensure every player knows, they better be ready to go at any moment...because their time is coming. That's just a hard fact here.

Same. Man, if we could land Fangio, that would be enormous for him. In addition, the guy clearly extends himself beyond his own bounds. And now he'll lose more coaches again.

I wonder if there are any other staff we can bring in who can help take a big load off him. He's giving it all he has but he clearly needs some help. I've never seen a HC age so quickly.

He's not the "greatest" coach coaching right now or anything,...but he'd certainly be the most sought after coach in the league. No question, IMO.

He hasn't lost Anthony Lynn yet (assistant head coach) so he should have some help. Also it helps its the offseason and no 49er games to prepare for. Although I'm reading speculative articles that some teams are asking to interview Anthony also.

btw....how many Head Coaches (Offense and Defense) must this guy produce in the league before many of you "he's learning" guys finally take notice?

We heard that Mike really made his offense @ the beginning of this year,...and I love Mike,...but the 2nd half of the year, where did you guys go?

You just disappear for awhile and create a new narrative (he doesnt know how to protect QBs within his scheme,...and 1 play is all the evidence we need to purport this all offseason).

But yea,...Andy Reid and Bill B. are both greater coaches than him certainly due to results and tenure.

Can someone do a comparison though of how many HCs have been hired from his staff since he's been @ KC and Philly?

Then do the same for Bill while @ NE?

Given Kyle's short tenure thus far I think it'd be pretty interesting.

One advantage to Fangio (besides experience) is he probably wouldn't be leaving to take a HC job. The rend is toward younger guys. One problem mightbe his preference for a 3-4 defense. The Niners don't have the personnel for that right now. They would need to find a big tough nose tackle.
WHY get rid of The Best No Longer Young Mind in Football when he keeps bring us 2nd place Trophy each time he gets into a big show??

True. Plus, he's older and someone Kyle trusts. He could be terrific for Kyle, the HC...as well as Kyle the OC.

Fangio runs a 3-4... our D is built to be under 4-3. .. we don't even have the right personnel to line up as a 3-4 and the LBs alone that we have, well, we don't have any OLB ..
