I'm sure 2024 off season we will target a T heavily in FA or the draft, especially since we will have our 1st round pick back.

Most likely, that's the plan. Hope that works out. We've been SPOILED going from Staley to Williams.

I think he'll be back for one more season, but should he do the unthinkable and retire, the 9ers would be wise to sign/draft as many QBs as possible just incase.

Like Groundhog day, I feel like we've been here before. Hope they spot it.
LMAO, NFLN punking us right now...Falcons vs. Patriots Superbowl on right now.

Kyle.

what suggestions do you have on who will replace him?

I'm waiting.......
you won't have anyone man enough to give you a sincere answer

There is no answer. That's the answer.
then there is no problem

Just unlucky.
well if you can't provide anything saying it's not.. then you got your answer

And you think "unlucky" is the answer?

Statistics factually account for what you want to term "unluckiness."

Chance, probability, et. al.

Since you're not very good @ bringing actual, factual data to the board, I will assist.

This notion that we are "far and away the worst" when it comes to injuries over the last decade or so is a myth,...we'd likely go down a spot or so on the list below just based on how well we did this year w/injuries, but nonetheless....

Notes:

1) I thought it was only us?

2) Of the Top 5 (Healthiest) and Bottom 5 (Least Healthiest) teams from 2009-2021, why do the least healthiest teams over this timespan have TWICE as many appearances and more than TWICE as many SB victories??

Remember now,...what's being sold to us over and over is that this injury "curse" thing is what's really held us back in comparison to other teams.

*So,...this is what we mean when we say stop guessing @ stuff you assume and actually find some concrete evidence of things before hawking conspiracy theories. Going off of this list, if anything, the physicality of teams has helped w/winning,...not hurt them.

12game win streak is great.. yippee..
I want to win once we get to the playoffs not lose like Kyle constantly does. People that love and can't admit his shortcomings are Blind fans

Dmax.. I've already posted, the Shananigans will continue to be happy each time Kyle raises up that 2nd Place Trophy..

You can hear all of them yelling " WE ALMOST WON !! WE ALMOST GOT TO THE SUPER BOWL !! "

I can't imagine any of the fans that celebrate the 12 game winning streak were watching the 49ers in the 80s 90s when a 12 win record was pretty much automatic at the start of the season.

It just goes to show how far this fan base has fallen from the glory days. GEORGE SEIFERT, who coached 2 Super Bowl teams for this franchise, was fired because he couldn't overcome Green Bay. His tenure lasted from 1989-1996. STEVE MARIUCCI, who revived this franchise post Steve Young and Jerry Rice, took this team on multiple playoff runs but was fired for not winning a SB. His tenure lasted from 1997-2002.

There was a time when our head coaches were held to a standard of excellence. Anything less than a SB and you were on the hot seat. Now, we have a coach that lost a SB and two NFC Championship games and we celebrate him like he's the messiah. Can't wait to hear next year's excuse when we come up short once again…

Great coaches dont grow trees. Franchises go decades without one So when you have a coach that is successful like Shany you cannot be hasty. Winning a SB is hard and takes some luck too. I think Shany will win one in his career, maybe more but its not a given. He has the ability in my opinion.

This is the camp I'm in as well...albeit more skeptical with every passing year.

The answer to #2 is Tom Brady.

It'll be the same excuse... it'll never end as long as Kyle's the coach.. the SHANANIGANS will continue be in love w/his play design that no matter what the outcome of the year will be a success and if the team comes up short once more it'll just be either.. PURDY'S WEAK ARM - DEFENSE GOT OLD - I WANTED MAC JONES INSTEAD OF TREY - INJURIES - AT LEAST WE CAME IN 2ND - and it will NEVER be Kyle.

Is there a deeper dive into those stats where those injuries are just qbs?

Just like Andy and Tony, Kyle may win one but it wont be here..

Tom Brady's great,...but it's still a team game and games are won "in the trenches." LoL,...this stuff is all coming from the same source.

We keep being told it's completely impossible to have success like this with constant injuries, and that injuries hold you back? So how can the most injury-riddled team also be the most successful? They shouldn't even have a chance @ success and something is CLEARLY WRONG with how they run their operations there. Right?

Their training staff sucks and they all need to be fired, although we really have no legit record of who these people are. Just continuing the drivel so you see how little sense it makes.

The rhetoric that gets repeated is simply not represented on this list, from top to bottom.

I mean,...have the Falcons really impressed you with their lack of injuries (that used Shanahan's scheme for a # of those years btw, lol)???

They're 0-1 in SBs during that timespan. Bears 0-0,...so what? Same for Vikes. Who cares?

The rhetoric being spewed over and over "sounds" good,...but when we actually dig up the facts of things,...it doesn't at all pass the smell test.

We'll still be blaming bad luck on injuries for another decade, I think

Sorry,...forgot the link.
https://www.ohbets.com/most-injury-prone-nfl-teams/#:~:text=Looking%20at%20data%20from%20the,to%20their%20knee%20and%20ankle.

They have some QB information there,....not the kind you're asking for, but I'd imagine it's out there somewhere.

Of course,...those that believe in voodoo will want to wait until this stuff has been updated for the '22-'23 season.

Every team is different and the fact that we've built a team to be non QB centric means we're that much more reliant on everyone else. Bosa for example would be my vote for team MVP, and an injury suffered by him would be catastrophic. But that Bucs team Brady was on would have been bottom 5 with any other QB. Not only does he possess an innate feel for how to avoid serious injuries, he, more than anyone in the league save Rodgers, carries his teams over to an extreme degree. The number of injuries per team is a big indicator, but who it is that gets injured, to me, is the biggest of whether a team is successful or not.

Firing both Seifert and Mariucci are examples of 'be careful what you wish for'.

Not sure how these examples support your argument....
