12game win streak is great.. yippee..
I want to win once we get to the playoffs not lose like Kyle constantly does. People that love and can't admit his shortcomings are Blind fans

Dmax.. I've already posted, the Shananigans will continue to be happy each time Kyle raises up that 2nd Place Trophy..

You can hear all of them yelling " WE ALMOST WON !! WE ALMOST GOT TO THE SUPER BOWL !! "

I can't imagine any of the fans that celebrate the 12 game winning streak were watching the 49ers in the 80s 90s when a 12 win record was pretty much automatic at the start of the season.

It just goes to show how far this fan base has fallen from the glory days. GEORGE SEIFERT, who coached 2 Super Bowl teams for this franchise, was fired because he couldn't overcome Green Bay. His tenure lasted from 1989-1996. STEVE MARIUCCI, who revived this franchise post Steve Young and Jerry Rice, took this team on multiple playoff runs but was fired for not winning a SB. His tenure lasted from 1997-2002.

There was a time when our head coaches were held to a standard of excellence. Anything less than a SB and you were on the hot seat. Now, we have a coach that lost a SB and two NFC Championship games and we celebrate him like he's the messiah. Can't wait to hear next year's excuse when we come up short once again…

Great coaches dont grow trees. Franchises go decades without one So when you have a coach that is successful like Shany you cannot be hasty. Winning a SB is hard and takes some luck too. I think Shany will win one in his career, maybe more but its not a given. He has the ability in my opinion.

Yet teams like the Eagles come out of nowhere and are on the brink of winning two with a completely different coaching staff. McVay has been to two SBs already. Seems like everyone else is closer to winning one except the guy that's been coaching here for what will be his 7th year now.

just wondering what the masses will say IF he botches it again, since he's convinced we've got two QBs that can take us to the promised land…which they can't.

We keep being told it's completely impossible to have success like this with constant injuries, and that injuries hold you back? So how can the most injury-riddled team also be the most successful? They shouldn't even have a chance @ success and something is CLEARLY WRONG with how they run their operations there. Right?

Their training staff sucks and they all need to be fired, although we really have no legit record of who these people are. Just continuing the drivel so you see how little sense it makes.

The rhetoric that gets repeated is simply not represented on this list, from top to bottom.

I mean,...have the Falcons really impressed you with their lack of injuries (that used Shanahan's scheme for a # of those years btw, lol)???

They're 0-1 in SBs during that timespan. Bears 0-0,...so what? Same for Vikes. Who cares?

The rhetoric being spewed over and over "sounds" good,...but when we actually dig up the facts of things,...it doesn't at all pass the smell test.

1) This team doesn't have a franchise quarterback that can transcend all of those injury problems like a Brady or Rodgers.

2) Context is key. How many of those were key injuries? How did it affect their offensive line? Protecting the quarterback should be the #1 priority and this team has done a piss poor job to say the least. I expect it to continue. Kyle's presser was disappointing. I'm not sure when we'll ever value pass protection under this regime

It'll be the same excuse... it'll never end as long as Kyle's the coach.. the SHANANIGANS will continue be in love w/his play design that no matter what the outcome of the year will be a success and if the team comes up short once more it'll just be either.. PURDY'S WEAK ARM - DEFENSE GOT OLD - I WANTED MAC JONES INSTEAD OF TREY - INJURIES - AT LEAST WE CAME IN 2ND - and it will NEVER be Kyle.

You were missing from the board during the win streak, but as soon as the team loses ONE game here you are, whining about the HC. You were very quiet there for the last month though. He got this team to the NFC Championship, again. This time with a third string QB. How many coaches in the league would be able to accomplish that? My bet is maybe one or two. I have been a fan long before the Niners were legendary. When Bill Walsh was hired things changed and the team FINALLY won the big one. It had never happened before. Be thankful that we get playoff football more often that almost every other team. Kyle was masterful this season overcoming so many obstacles along the way, only to run into a impossible situation in the NFC title game. Go find the team that meets your expectations, if you can, and become one of their fans. I like this crew. I appreciate this group of players and coaches, all of them!

If you had any solid recommendations as to how or who to employ as improvements, then share them with the zone. But you never seem to have answers, only complaints.

Definitely disagree. The Chiefs and Eagles are closer to winning one because they'll be in the game next week. Going into next season you couldn't make a serious argument that there are more than 4-5 teams that have as good a chance or better to win one than us. We have more questions at QB, which is a negative in today's NFL, but if Brock can return at full health and he isn't shell shocked mentally, we'll be solid at least at the position.

I agree, it's stupid. Dennis Erickson, Mike Nolan, Mike Singletary, Jim Tomsula, Chip Kelly… vs… 3 nfc champion appearances in 4 years and one superbowl appearance. There isn't a coach other than perhaps Andy Reid that can say that. Kyle doesn't play the actual game. He puts everyone in a position to win (a fact that the players keep stating over and over) and relies on them to do their job. Sometimes they don't or can't for a number of reasons. I don't post here much but your post was so bad I decided to.

3 nfc championship appearances and and 1 super bowl loss...= Loser. He hasn't won anything. What you're saying IS Stupid
Hey Kyle. Maybe it's finally time to stop drafting running backs in the 3rd round that will be inactive all season. And maybe invest in protecting your quarterback? Just food for thought.

Captain hindsight to the rescue!
Imagine thinking losing in the NFC championship and Super Bowl means you're a coach worth replacing

Literally nobody that says this can name an obvious upgrade to Kyle that would clearly win a Super Bowl.

Kyle's 6-3 in the playoffs.

But apparently because Seifert and Mariucci got fired (neither of which paid off) somehow Kyle should be on the hot seat...
