you can sort pff position stats by weight. mcg is tied with 8 other guys at bottom 30th % percentile in weight. how many below him are starters?
https://www.pff.com/nfl/grades/position/t
at guard brunskill and burford are bottom 5%
https://www.pff.com/nfl/grades/position/g
center brendel is bottom 5%
https://www.pff.com/nfl/grades/position/g
have to say in fairness kelce is lightest center at 295 ranked #1

Why are we concerned with weight?

Did something change? Last I if as heard it was trending more towards the surgery/brace and 6 months

Anyone insinuating Kyles playcalling or scheme gets QBs injured clearly doesn't watch enough football across the league. Our pass pro was graded above average meaning our QBs have been more upright than most. It jus so happens that for 2 of our qbs at least, they got hit in awkward ways that caused serious injury. Around the league I've seem QBs get freaking destroyed regularly and still got up. That just wasn't the case with us.
Some people just can't admit that the only thing to blame is extremely bad luck. No they gotta have someone to blame. Honestly, it's understandable as its human nature to try to make sense of things that just have no explanation other than pure chance

you mean, why is the rest of the league concerned ?
There's a rumor that big guys keep your skill players from getting killed.

49ers are talking about repair surgery (not Tommy John) - back to full go in 6 months post surgery.
This came out of Lynch and Shanahan's press conference yesterday.

You should try it sometime. It's called a discussion. Two people discuss talking points on a challenging topic of reality, dive a little deeper into those points for clarity with an open mind, maybe agree or disagree with some or all points respectively after the discussion, and see how things trend over time. Maybe even revisit later.
If we needed one-line humor on the topic, we would just reach out to your wife.
Carr has plenty of leverage here, as a February 15th release makes him a street free agent one month before any of the other pending free agent QBs. He'll have an exclusive negotiation period with teams in need. https://t.co/Zftcpdighj
