keep your enthusiasm though. It's sure to sway some opinions 🤣

ps: the niners organization > the rams organization, we'd all agree with that. And they just won't the super bowl last year. Your reasoning is flawed, and based on emotion

the rams weren't winning BEFORE stafford got hurt… only using the rams because they are the latest SB winners, which is what your clamoring about.
So lemme get this right
You rather have a CHANCE to win rather THAN actually win... what the hell kinda loser mentality is that?

This talk of Shanahan and "backups" is ridiculous anyways. The worst Qb on the roster started due to draft position. Now it gets spun as Shanahan doing amazing work with "backups".

Garoppolo is a mid-tier starter, and Purdy is looking like a starter in this league. There are teams that would hand them the job right now.

No team would hand JJ the starting job right now. That's a backup. I don't think any team would hand Trey the starting job right now either. That's a backup.

That's not even close to what he was saying.

He's saying he'd rather have multiple chances through sustained success.

There's no single or even series of moves we can make that guarantees a SB win. All we can do is keep putting ourselves in a position to contend for one at the end of each season.

at guard brunskill and burford are bottom 5%
https://www.pff.com/nfl/grades/position/g

center brendel is bottom 5%

have to say in fairness kelce is lightest center at 295 ranked #1

Why are we concerned with weight?

you mean, why is the rest of the league concerned ?

There's a rumor that big guys keep your skill players from getting killed.

1- How do you know these weights are accurate?

2- How do you know these grades are accurate?

3- Jawaan Taylor weighs 2 pounds more than Mcglinchey yet had a better year. How did those 2 extra pounds enable him to play at a higher level?

Im not sure. They're the "official" weigh iin numbers. So i assume they are equally accurate/inaccurate for everyone.

There are no "grades." These are ranking by weight ony. These are the listings sorted by weight.

No idea. Probably its harder to throw around heavier players.
Reading this thread, I'm so so SO happy this forum doesn't run the team. Thank goodness.

So it's harder to throw around Taylor because he weighs a Big Mac more than Glinch?

If weight was so meaningful wrt OL, why doesn't every team just add the heaviest guys to their line?
Shanahan system has always prioritized mobility to size for their O linemen.

1) shore up the offensive line..
2) find a big bruising nose tackle..
3) develop Trey Lance the right way..
Not paying Buckner and d.j Jones really screwed the teams chances....You can't be cheap and expect to win

right?

People have gone full on Simple Jack with Kyle. Dude blasts off 12 straight wins with QB2 and QB3 and we lose QB3 the first drive of the NFCC and people are crying about kyle? f**king dumb. he's not perfect, not one single coach is though.

they want to complain go root for the Steelers, ravens, packers. They haven't done s**t and have had better QBs during the same time. I've seen people in here kissing Tomlin's ass and for what? Being able to go +500 and sneak into the playoffs every once in a while? Dude won it all with someone else's team. Imagine the cry babies in here if he was our coach? Rolling out dog s**t after dog s**t OCs. Who wants to watch Najee Harris run for 2 yards and throw a couple bubble screens? Meanwhile our front office and coaching staff are getting poached EVERY YEAR because teams want to be like us. Look at the same league!

s**t you guys want to really complain go be a NY fan. That's real trash. Cowboy's haven't even made it to a NFCC in 27 freaking years!

You handful of complainers sound like ungrateful children. People acting like there's a way to be "guaranteed" a Super Bowl 😂🤣 stop it.

Some of the best lineman in the league are like 310lbs. If being fat was the golden ticket for success on the OL. Everyone would be 370lbs lol.

if you can find a 330lb lineman who can run like a gazelle, then you're in business. Trent Williams is that dude and they don't grow on trees.

Joe Staley was 300lbs soaking wet and is a 6x pro-bowler

David Bakhtiari is 310lbs, multiple all-pro

Laremy Tunsil Is 310lbs and probably the 2nd best LT in football.
