Being "the problem" and needing to be better are 2 different things

2023 will be Kyle's 7th season as head coach of the 9ers and Is yet to find a QB who's good enough to get us over the hump.

That's the biggest problem.

I agree, it's not the only problem but it is the biggest.

Coaches that don't find a QB generally get fired. That's just the way it is. Belichick and Reid didn't find their home until they found their QB.

But he did. And the QB got hurt (Purdy). Also, coaches that don't WIN get fired. Usually the QB and coach thing go hand in hand. But Kyle has managed to win in spite of not having a top 5 or 10 QB (Brock might be one, but I need to see it over a full season).

The Eagles, the NFCs best couldn't win a single game when their 1st QB went out. If they had to ride with Minshew for say 12 games, does that suddenly mean Sirianni should get the axe?

Winning buys more time like Andy in Philly, but if you keep coming up short with no QB people start losing hope. It becomes a toxic environment. Philly fans will tell you it was just time to part ways with Andy.

Purdy looked very promising but he has to show more before we say Kyle found his guy.

I said I need to see it from Brock over a full season. Also, Philly got tired of Andy for dumb moves, not for getting close yet coming up short.

Dumb moves (all coaches make mistakes), the perceived inability to win the big one, no QB (no future). If Brock doesn't workout this will probably be Kyle at some point. If he doesn't have a QB by the time our defense starts to decline he will be in trouble.

As long as we keep drafting reasonably well, we'll be fine.

Don't be ridiculous. He's built this team from scratch. without a good QB we've still defy odds and become a top team in the NFL.

it just so happens that the only weakness on this team is the hardest position to fill.. QB

What is so ridiculous? Hs is saying if Kyle doesn't get the offense going the defense is going to not be as good as they are now. There going to lose a bunch of Free Agent on defense. Kinlaw is not working out. They will have a hard time being the first rank defense next year.
Kyle is not getting fired. I don't care what any of us think. Jeb York is not changing a thing. What doses that mean? I can guess but, I really don't know?
i know what he is saying and it's ridiculous. 6 years now and the Defense is still the side carrying this team. Kinlaw is not a key piece so it's non-issue.

We don't know what we will be ranked and can't say we will or won't, but what is for sure is that if you have all sides of the game working, you don't need to be number 1 in defense

and the most important part, they know how to build a team.

The offense was scoring 30 a game down they stretch. They scored 41 against Seattle. Totally false that the defense is still carrying the team.
You must have been under a rock the first half of the season and seasons prior

Same rock as you when overlooking me saying "down the stretch." If the offense was scoring 30+ for 8 out of 12 games (I'm not counting that Eagles game), thats the offense doing their share of the load. I'd expect that to continue with Purdy. We will see if Trey can keep us there. One plus for him is that we never saw him with Christian McCaffrey. So hopefully that element helps his game.
Nope not under any rock. This is about Kyle's tenure, you know 6 seasons and not 7 games

He is probably going to win it. The last 5 COTY haven't gone on to win it all so historically at least the last 5 years hes has an edge. He definitely deserves it this year too.

True. And his previous accomplishments as the best OC in football should be disregarded as well. The only relevant data is the data that supports your opinion. 👍🏻

I wanted to get your opinion. Where did brendel talk about it?

Hey somebody's reading our sh&t:

That's losing due to leverage and technique, not lbs.

This, it had nothing to do about size and everything to do about technique. Screenshots don't show s**t, you can see it all breakdown in the actual film.

who's saying they should be disregarded?

I'm saying Defense has always been in front of the offense in the Kyle era and it was due to QB play. Now that we had a decent QB in the last games, it showed the true potential of this team.

I bet the Chief fans are saying the same about Patrick Mahomes. Jk

Seriously, though, I'm hopeful Purdy or Lance can help us all forget about all those missed opportunities.

The quest for six and a franchise QB continues.

I'm trying to buy some of the Hoodies that Kyle has worn on game days and I don't think they're available to the public

it's really not that hard.
Do you extend him again if he can't win a SB within his 10 year contract?

Yes...when u can't win the big games and labeled a genius..Yes Imagine

Taking one of the most atrocious rosters at the time and making the Super Bowl, numerous NFC championships, and the most recent with a 3rd string qb half the season.

Imagine saying that's worth firing

it's an asinine statement by fans who have such tunnel vision that they look more dumb every time they voice their opinion
