I think Falcons fans hatred of Shanny because of the SB is so great that our fan base cant admit that him not being the OC here is seriously effecting the offense. I know Ryan has had some issues with tipped balls and dropped passes, but hes been very average this year even if you eliminate those balls. Maybe above average AT BEST. Shanny to Sark as OC is a monster dropoff.

Let me guess he got ridiculed to oblivion?

Nah, people were agreeing with him. They are starting to really turn on Sark as well as Matt Ryan who has suddenly come back down to Earth this season.

That offense laid a giant turd in the second half of the Superbowl...most teams dont come back from that...clearly Atlanta is struggling to.

Well, color me shocked. Might just be overreactions to an inexcusable loss, though.

I'm gonna say this.....nobody is happy with 0-6, but I'm choosing to give this team and staff credit for what they are. IMO, we are seeing a pretty talent depleted team that carries itself with a tremendous amount of fight. I've been watching football long enough to know that's not always the norm. Just look at this Was game...10a local kick, 3rd straight road game against a team coming off a bye, 2 straight OT games. In the face of this, they erased a 17 point deficit and again fought to the end. Call it moral victories if you will...but that's pretty f**king impressive in my book and shows very well for a rookie staff.

I don't give 2 f**ks about Grant Cohn's quarterly yardage breakdown and all that other fairytale s**t....Kyle is a good coach with a chance to be even better. His offense is sound and his playcalling is tremendous. When the talent level on this team starts to match the schemes and fight it could be special. Past history gives us these clues.

Again, the level of fight this team has shown is special.

Its going to be a fun ride in the next few years as the roster improves.
Shannyb the almost winner.
If we score 23 next week we'll officially be averaging the most points per game in a season since 2013 so at least we have that going for us.
The fact that we're actually in games with our curent talent level is impressive to me.

Yup this game, Bomanless/leaderless should of been a blowout by the Redskins.

Nice post 816, agree wholeheartedly with you. Also we found our Qb for this yr. HOyer wasn't what Kyle had remembered, but CJ was right on. Sure it may have been luck, but i doubt it. This was Kyle's pick all the way. Jumped up into end of rd 3 to get him. Kyle knew what he wanted. So we may have our guy and at a fraction the cost of Cuzins. The best qB on the field today...hands down, CJ. He played really, really well.

Agree

Our D has kept all the games close and now will be better.

In the first half we had just over 7 minutes of possession and the Redskins had over 20 minutes.

if CJ keeps it up and Reuban comes back strong our D won't be so over-worked.
