So he is like damn near every other coach right? Everything you mentioned still falls to the HC btw.... Is he so revered by you that posters cannot question him at all on these forums? You act like we commit heresy if we question his coaching.

I never said anyone can't question him. I have. I'm not dumb enough to think we need to replace him or try to go out of my way to find any problem just because I feel like I need to find blame all the time.

If anything Kyle is one of the main reasons we even have a chance to win SBs. Some of ya'll live in some fantasy world thinking the league is flush with really good HCs. Do you see who's coaching in the league?

for the amount of dick sucking Reid gets in here, dude has ONE SB in 23 yrs as a HC. AND it took him having a generational QB make a ridiculous play on 3 & 15 that only someone like PM could make. That play and zero to do with coaching (and it also took Jimmy blowing a perfectly called play for a long TD).

IMO it's amateur hour to say coaching is the reason we're not winning or he can't get any recognition for being a damn good coach because he "hasn't won a SB". I agree a flag should have been thrown, doesn't justify the crap takes by a few on what kyle is or isn't.

I never said anything you just said? All I said was he needs to learn how to win it all. Then all you guys came out with pitchforks....
you don't see any issue with your statement ?

Nope. What is wrong with it? you guys are listing off all his accolades and framing comparisons to promote him.... All I said was he needs to learn to win it all... Did I say he is a bad coach? Or should be gone? Or he sucks? I never said anything like that. I am record that I like him, but he frustrates me at times. Is that not reasonable?

I admit I baited you guys a bit, but damn did y'all bite!
How can you not see any issues with it. Coaches who have won it all doesn't mean they can do it again or make it any easier

There is no cheat code or some recipe you can use that will guarantee a SB win

I guess the question is - In your opinion at what point should the York's move on from Kyle if ever?

Lol oh okay. Continue with the weak confirmation bias takes that 90% of the people in here don't take seriously.

Why would anyone even have that thought right now

No, you compared him to them using one set of data. I also showed you data they have that he doesn't. I know Kyle is a great coach, but he still has work to do and still hasn't won it all...

And Reid won it ONCE in over 23 years of coaching…it took him having the league's elite QB making some incredible back foot 3rd and 15 play with pressure in his face. That had zero to do with coaching. It took Jimmy blowing a beautiful drawn out play as well…so that makes Reid that much more better lol? See how ridiculous that is?

I do not think kyle is worse head coach then Kubiak, Billick, McCarthy, Switzer, Pederson, Harbaugh etc because they won a SB.

That's great, but I wasn't comparing him to anyone else. You guys are

I said he needs to learn how to win it all. I left it open to interpretation, but you guys took it as an attack....

I was more asking.... what DOES KYLE need to do to win it all...... because he's been getting damn close hasn't he? So what can KYLE do to get there?

As for Reid....Would you rather be 0-28 or 1-27? its a simple choice for me but that doesnt mean i want Kyle fired lol. Also Reid is the one who made sure he got his guy in Mahaomes while Kyle had a hard on for Cousins. So guess what... Mahomes was his QB when his play broke down right? And his QB made that miraculous play and it was against our damn team..... Credit still goes back to the HC.

Because if posters question him others defend him like pitbulls lol So I wonder at what point do you say to yourself maybe it's not meant to be? Can I not ask what he can do to be better? Again as mentioned in other posts, you took my comment way out of context and we ran with it lol

Dude I'm providing examples to you…you think they "learned to win it all" come on man. That's such a weird take.

reid needed the worlds best QB to "learn to win it all" lol. That in itself shows you that coaching is only part of the equation. You can be the worlds best HC, make every correct call and still never win it all because you don't have that Mahomes type of guy.

You said he needs to learn to win it all, what does that even mean? Should Bill get canned because he clearly never learned to win it all without the GOAT. Tomlin hasn't won s**t without a HOF QB. Same with Payton. Did Mike McCarthy "learn to win it all" or did he just have a generational QB and get hot at the right time? Same with Reid. I could go on and on.

point is football is so year to year. There are SO MANY variables that go into winning and losing. You'd think of all fans, Niners fans would get that.

if you're in the discussion to win it all year after year, constantly making the playoffs and winning games…I'd say that's a damn good job…better than most HC in the NFL.

When a coach makes it to three NFCCGs within a four year span, he's doing a lot of things correctly. Sometimes the difference in losing in the final four and winning it all is very small, and it's hard to proclaim that had the coach made these handful of decisions correctly, that he would have won it all. I would have to see Kyle lose the locker room, and/or have a few losing seasons to start thinking about replacing him as head coach.

I think there is a correlation between how well a head coach is respected within league circles and how many of his assistants get poached. The most recent time this happened was Pete Carrol and how a couple of his assistants got head coaching gigs. I hate Pete but he's a good coach. Kyle has now produced three head coaches so that's a sign that the league thinks highly of him. A few fans hate Kyle, but he's a good coach.
