More like accurate take. Nagy is a Reid guy. He came over from Philly.
So Kyle gets all the credit for Brock then since every scout and coach is a Kyle guy.
I would say a lot of it's on KS. With BP, let's remember.. it's like the TB12 documentary which was called The Brady Six. That Pats admit in the doc, they essentially lucked into Brady, because if they knew who Brady was, they don't leave him on the board for 190+ selections of the draft. There is always a luck element. Trading up to mid first round in a bold move to land Mahomes is probably less luck, than landing the GOAT in your lap in Round 6, if I were to offer my opinion.
I will always believe we basically lucked into BP, as no way we leave him there til 262 if we saw what he was doing for us this year coming. But to answer you question, yes it's KS making the major dollars. He puts his team around him, which means JL, all coaches, scouting personnel, this is KS surrounding himself with bright minded folks, which he has always done very well.
I agree 💯%, because in any part of the NFL game that we love, luck does play a part. Sometimes big sometimes small. I think Kyle just lucked into Purdy, otherwise as you said, they'd have used their 2nd round pick (which was their highest pick in 2022) to get Brock.
P.s. the buck stops with Kyle. He'll get fired if he doesn't get his Franchise QB, and now he has (possibly) two good ones, his job is safe. Look at any NFL head coach. if they don't get their Franchise QB, they will eventually be fired. Look at the coaches that
get a franchise Level QB, their coaching tenure is decades long in some cases.
