Blew the first half by expecting his quarterback can receive a shotgun snap properly.

Agree with Young and Sanders on Kyle. I want him as the Niners coach for life. He is human, and will never be as perfect as the irrational fan wants him to be.

I honestly think it's hard not to see how great a coach he is. Like you have to willfully ignore stuff to say he should be fired.

Anybody can see his offense is awesome. He's lacking everywhere else though. Sorry if im not okay with him turning a 4 point halftime deficit into a 14 point halftime deficit in the NFCCG. Doesn't mean he needs to be fired, but he will be if he keeps that kind of s**t up

How can you make such a concrete statement? Are you going to be the one to fire him?

You would want to keep a coach around that sabotages the team in big games with his decisions?

He's extremely lucky Brock wasn't able to come back and those mistakes can be swept under the rug. The calls for him to be fired would be 10x louder if Brock came back and we barely lost. He completely blew the first half.
Why are you acting like we had the best QB out there and still lost lol

none of those coaches in the playoffs can win without their stud QB.. some of those playoff teams with stud QBs still lost.

yet we were there with a 7th round rookie

Kyle Shanahan and Andy Reid have very similar starts to their head coaching careers. Reid is now looked at as a HOF HC. Do you believe that Philly gave up on him prematurely?

Expecting Josh Johnson to run the 2 minute drill against that defense honestly could be put on him too, but that would make it a 17 point swing caused by Kyle.

I only count the missed challenge (gave them 7 points) and letting the play clock expire when we were in FG range (took 3-7 points from us). That's a 10 point swing

No I don't. Philly has done just fine without him. Andy needed a fresh start, he probably wouldn't be where he's at today without the fresh start

Do you honestly think we still had a chance with Josh Johnson at QB even if Shanahan was impossibly perfect with those in game decisions you are complaining about?

Also, are you really expecting a 4th string practice squad QB to be a starting caliber player? Was it even possible to land a starting caliber that late in the season when Jimmy went down?

At that point we didn't know if Purdy would regain feeling in his arm or not. Kyle let the game get away with his decisions. We had little chance of coming back even with Brock in the 2nd half due to bad coaching

so you would kneel until we find out about Purdy.. ..yeah great decision

There were some questionable decisions, namely not challenging on a 4th down bomb when the receiver got up asking for hurry up offense. Also let's get aggressive which he rarely does, with Josh flippin Johnson. Not KS's best day by any stretch.

I'd throw the challenge flag (like I was yelling to do during the game). That's minus 7 points for them. I'd call a timeout (like I was yelling to do during the game) and not let the play clock run out while in FG range. That's plus 3 for us. And I honestly would not have let Johnson run the 2 minute there, so that's another minus 7 for them.

If I were standing next to Kyle on the sidelines giving him advice, we go into the half possibly up 10-7. At the very least we are down 14-10 with my in game decisions

I believe they did. He was fired after the 2012 season. That was his 1st losing season since 2005. Sure. The eagles have had success over the past 5 seasons but that doesn't negate the fact that they gave up on him prematurely. Which can be argued by the fact that Reid has had just as much success if not more in that same time span.

This guy is a fortune teller. What are the winning lottery numbers for this Saturday?

not sure what a challenge flag will do when we are on offense
