Game is won when you can give your QB time to throw, ie the trenches again.

Yes we have

Also time to throw means nothing if the qb is making the wrong decision or not seeing things properly

Purdy said Aiyuk was getting open, (when he got injured) he just needed another split second to get it to him but the protections failed.
Football is won in the trenches..with the big uglies...

He needed to step up into that clean pocket he had.

Can you walk me through what he was supposed to do at what time?

Like, when to recognize yuk was getting open, when to step up, when to set his feet, and when to throw?

Not being snarky, just wondering how it should have played out. I admit it is hard to imagine any decent yardage pass play beating an (essentially) unblocked edge rusher.

Robbed absolutely robbed
Stay Puft is a good coach, but Kyle absolutely deserved it.

Reddick wasn't unblocked. Not even essentially. Edge rushers need to be pushed as far back as possible. Making them take the longest route possible to the QB. Of course Kroft could have held the block longer. I would prefer Juice over Kroft in that situation. But Purdy did have a clean pocket to step up into. When a QB steps up, it makes it even more difficult for the edge rusher to get to him. Allowing him the extra time needed to make an intermediate to deep throw. Its one thing if there was pressure up the middle as well but there wasn't.

STOP THE STEAL!
Man, the Shanahan's must have pissed off the NFL something fierce. I'd love to know.
What does this man have to do to get Coach of the Year?

I thought he deserved it most in 2019. If he wasn't getting it then, I don't think he ever will.

I'm going by the same thing I said in the playoffs, NYG shouldn't have been in the playoffs but for coaching. Daboll had arguably the worst roster in the league, while Kyle had arguably the best. Probably why they voted that way.

So in 2019 when Kyle had turned a horrible roster into the a Super Bowl team but John Harbaugh won cause he won 2 more games than the previous year with Lamar Jackson in his first year starting. That says they don't care about rosters
