Pederson deserved it more. From the 1st pick to the divisional round.

That's more reflective of what a garbage coach Urban was. Jaguars have way more talent than the Giants and played in a weak division. I would put Pederson over McDermott and no one else.

Daboll would have been my choice and most agree. They're in a division with cowboys and eagles and made it pretty far with nobody other than Saquon.
Going to NFCCG with 3rd stringer sounds amazing, but in reality most knew our QB2 was always better than our QB1, and our QB3 looks like he could be the best QB of the group lol. There are years Kyle deserved it, but not this year. Daboll was the easy choice

The giants didn't beat a single playoff team during the season. The Vikings were fake and everyone knew that.
good job Daboll you're better than Joe Judge. Great accomplishment. Your amazing play calling consistent over running read options and RPOs all game.
I'm shocked you didn't think Kyle deserved it….just shocked

When a QB steps up, it makes it even more difficult for the edge rusher to get to him. Allowing him the extra time needed to make an intermediate to deep throw. Its one thing if there was pressure up the middle as well but there wasn't.
Reddick gambled, he didn't defend the run at all off the play-action. If it was a run he would have totally been f**ked.
Brock has to know that's who's blocking their best guy and his internal clock has to speed up. Better pocket awareness. He's a rookie so that will happen

I'm going by the same thing I said in the playoffs, NYG shouldn't have been in the playoffs but for coaching. Daboll had arguably the worst roster in the league, while Kyle had arguably the best. Probably why they voted that way.
So in 2019 when Kyle had turned a horrible roster into the a Super Bowl team but John Harbaugh won cause he won 2 more games than the previous year with Lamar Jackson in his first year starting. That says they don't care about rosters
Yeah they were drafting 2nd overall then went to the SB. I wasn't expecting him to win this yr if he wasn't gonna win in 2019

It's still more impressive than what Kyle did with an established team/top roster. I said Kyle has deserved to win the award before, but the only reason he got consideration this year is because he had his QB depth chart all f**ked up. It's not like our QBs got worse as we went down the depth chart, they got better lol

A lot of these popularity awards have some politics mixed into it. Glad that our coach got 2nd place. Next time when he wins #6 Lombardi- he'll be a shoe in.

Game is won and lost by consistent QB play. It's the difference Brock made.
Game is won when you can give your QB time to throw, ie the trenches again.
Purdy said Aiyuk was getting open, (when he got injured) he just needed another split second to get it to him but the protections failed.
He needed to step up into that clean pocket he had.
I blame Kyle more than the protections, but the protections definitely shoulders some of the blame. I just think Kyle was too aggressive on that drive, and should have worked more on the run game. I don't know if Kroft could have done anything more than he did, considering he's a 3rd stringer (I think) blocking on of the best edge rushers in the NFL.
Going forward, I hope Kyle stays more patient against good defenses. I hope Kyle realizes he has a franchise QB in Brock (potentially 2 in Trey) and does a lot more work schemewise to protect them better and get better protection talent around them. That includes possibly better TEs that can pass block better as well as OLinemen that can pass block with the best.
The offensive line was much better than what I would have predicted at the beginning of the year, and it only broke down in the NFCCG against an elite pass rush team. Great accomplishment but they can now build on that success.

No it's not. They didn't beat a single playoff team. I watch that team every week. SF went on to have the longest winning streak in the NFL with multiple QBs and injuries all the same.
You, me and the rest of the world didn't know anything about Brock. He's the last dude picked in the draft and his skill set doesn't exactly ooze with elite upside. You're out of your mind if you don't think kyle put him in the best position to succeed.

Yes. He is a rookie. Believe me, if that is the biggest knock on him going into his 2nd season, I have no worries he won't learn from this situation. He was adapting in game every week. That's why this offense was becoming almost unstoppable.

Blame him for what? Running a standard PA that we've run a 100 times this yr? Reddick simply didn't defend the run off the PA. He gambled. Brock HAS to recognize that matchup presnap. He has to have a better internal clock and better pocket awareness.
