Kyle please hit a home run on our qb for next year. We could go FA but I'm not sure Cousins is all that and worth 25% salary cap space.

I was certain it wasn't a called pick or rub play. To me it looked like a slant-flat concept between the X and the back.
Ignore the formation but the circled part is what it looked like to me. There's some natural rub action in this but Garcon's actions show this wasnt a designed pick play.
Now, we can argue if C.J. threw to the right guy because usually in these slant-flat plays the flat is primary.

What are the odds we get Kirk? If CJ plays well the rest of the season you stick with him. We shall have to wait and see

Beathard will have to get 7-9 wins in a row to make Shanahan forget about Kirk Cousins. This moral victory is FAR from it!!!

Yep. Coach Sandler wants to just hang out with his biddies at work.

Obviously we want to see wins and improvement, but if Kyle likes what he sees from CJ, then who is to say he still wants Kirk? He may want to see how CJ does with the new talent we have next year. I'm ok either way, but I'd rather CJ work out for the sake of our teams rebuild and future.

I hope Beathard plays great, but not great enough yet. I'd love to get that #1 pick and trade back. I think it will be very valuable this draft.

Wouldn't be any better. Unless he brought Brady and Belichick with him.
