If Lance was pro-ready he would have been a top 2 pick. They've tried to push everything on him slowly. That was always gonna be the case regardless of draft capital. Everyone just can't accept the truth of what it was always gonna be.

literally the only thing that didn't materialize is that he got hurt and lost a season of real development. People expecting greatness WK1? Well that's your own fault (not saying you did).

Yeah it's disappointing that he hasn't materialized into a bonifide future HOFer but most of it has been out of his control.

The part that is aggravating is one of those picks could have been Micah Parsons across from bosa.

It's not treys fault but a huge gamble has not paid off on the move. We have gotten lucky in CMC and purdy/Jimmy that the team is not back in the dark ages because usually when you make such a big move with so much draft capital and it does not work the team sucks for like a half decade or more.

That would earn him a 42-18 record or a 70% win percentage over a 3 year span. That would make him the coach with the highest win% in the NFC over that same time span. No way you get rid of him after another 76% winning season and deep playoff run.

Now lets put logic aside and go back to feelings. We are simply spectators. We have absolutely no control over wins and losses. We don't put in any of the work or make any of the sacrifices that these coaches make in order to do their jobs at a high level. You don't think Kyle Shanahan wants to win a SB more than any 49er fan out there? The dude puts his heart, soul and life into this game. Give the f**king guy a break. Better yet, give him your f**king support. Faithful, my ass.

The team needs to be competitive and stack winning season after winning season. I'm not content with them losing in the postseason and wanna see them win a ring too. I want them to stay being in the mix and hopefully win it all at some point.

Yeah and maybe they don't draft Parsons anyway. Hindsight stuff with the draft is tough. There wasn't a single person that thought he was gonna be a stud edge rusher. I try not to get caught up in that (unless I was completely right prior lol).

I think if it wasn't Jimmy it would have been Kirk and overall that wouldn't have been bad imo (probably better actually, he doesn't get hurt).

moving all that draft capital for Lance wasn't suppose to be instant success there…it was always about the future. Sucks he got hurt, doesn't me his career or whatever is done though.

Dude would have been screaming for Tomlin, Payton, both Harbaughs to all be fired. None have won s**t in over a decade. Can you imagine how much crying there would be if Reid was our HC for his first 20 yrs in the league?!
