I'll edit this to put in a video from the last time I heard this mentioned.

Deebo is specifically talking about Shanny putting players before anything, and how he seeks out input from his players and very matterfactly says Kyle does not make any decisions on his own.

This is way more CEO then it is tyrant.

11 draftees are not going to make the roster. The 49ers have some needs. But not eleven of them.

I expect both Lynch and Shanahan may do a little shopping around to see if some of those third round picks can be turned into a single pick in the second or even the first round.

Those 3 thirds are super late in the round and the value of all of them combined gets you into the back end of round 2 according to the TVC.
