As long as the o line isn't terrible they'll have SB runs aplenty because of the guy behind center.
Nah. Playoff runs, sure, even deep runs. He's already proven that's not the case. Hence why Andy immediately went and tried to correct it (and did). Now he's lost both T's. So he's back to square one. This year will be further proof of that.
He's already proven he can a SB(s) with the OL getting the s**t kicked out of him
I guess that's fair. Even with his arm punt, I still blame the defense giving up 21 points in 5 minutes then him doing anything magical. That and his OL didn't allow a pressure at the end when it mattered most. He is a HOF QB but even he has his Kryptonite. He won't win it this year though. I'll take a friendly bet on that too.

The throw to Hill with Bosa breathing down on him was pretty damn impressive. The elite guys can make big throws when pressured. They just can't carry the team when the protection is awful.

Yeah, retreating backwards and throwing up an arm punt was both legit and risky. Had Ward not got beat deep on a double move or the CB carried him and actually made a play on the ball (or Tartt like against the Rams) instead of the man, it would have cost him the game. But that's why he'll go down as one of the greatest ever. He'll take that risk and sometimes it'll pay off at the most important moment of the game and swing momentum.

Ward didn't get beat ona double move. So let's not start that again lol
anyways, he got the s**t kicked out of him that SB and his OL damn near got him knocked out for the season this year.

Eric Crocker already confirmed that. Your eyes will too if you rewatch it.

This was already debunked ad nauseam. I provided you the entire breakdown from various coordinators of both the D and O play calls and who was responsible for what and who did what and you again just ignore it because you think you heard something on Crocker and you're not a Ward fan. your incorrect take that KC OL kept PM clean all SB was also debunked. There really isn't anything to argue here, but by all means keep repeating them.

Debunked? LOL. Was the CB more responsible? Of course. But Ward was the single high S and the last line of defense also and had he not bit on the double move, he would have been in great position to be in Hill's pocket but be in better position to field an arm punt (make an actual play on the ball). I'll go with a DB who's actually played the game. Plus you can see it with your own eyes too. Like Eric said, getting beat on a double move as a S is a big no-no. He also didn't exactly "hustle" after he got beat and then never even considered playing the ball but waited for Hill to fair catch it and then played him for the tackle. Conservative.
Still, it wasn't a TD. The defense still had to give up 21 points after that under 5 minutes. And their OL had to run block and pass block to do that. If you're trying to imply PM transcended them, good luck with that argument because he certainly couldn't when he was down 10 with 7 minutes to go up to that point...when the OL wasn't holding up well and our defense 'was' getting home.
As long as we're not debating the stupid sanders deep pass anymore I'm happy.
Even if he catches it and scores giving mahomes 3 minutes on the clock he would have scored again and we would have lost. We needed to milk all that time and score to win. Play call was dumb in my opinion for the reasons above.
"I wish I could've stayed more square," Ward said. "It's a route that they love doing. The crazy thing about that play, is they ran it twice. They ran an outside dig, they probably ran it 10 yards. This time — I can't remember if there was a timeout before, I don't watch the live copy — the second time they ran it they put [Travis] Kelce on the outside. He ran a 15 yard dig and Tyreek [Hill] kind of bent it in and ran a deep post corner. So I understand what they were doing now.
"They got us in the right call, because we were in Cover 3 and I don't know if they were expecting us to be in Cover 3 or what. We probably could've made another call and that would've helped us out, but it probably would've played out the same way. But regardless of the situation, if I would've stayed square it wouldn't have even been a play."

LOL. TBF, he blamed both but expanded to show Ward's responsibility on the play as well. He was the Eraser and got erased himself...in his own words above.

Don't bother
it's dumb but it's the off-season. Hill runs like a 3.8 40 is at full spreed while Ward is still in a back pedal and Crocker wants to say he f**ked up turning to run. Dude woulda been chasing cheeks if he didn't open the gates. It's a bad take

Ward is a leader he's not gonna toss a young player under the bus. He was the last line of defense and the #1 rule shall not be broken as a Safety which is why he opened up to run.
