Damn JT goes hard at "Kyle"
Huh. So scheme and design choices and players not knowing what to do within them leads to other players at risk for injury? Who knew?
JTO's stealing your stuff from the Injury Thread, NC, are you going to do nothing about it?
From Lombardi to JTO to Cohn. Hi Grant.LOL

Ouch, my eyes and ears!

All I can say is that in 1981, Bill Walsh ran the ball to set up the *Catch I* in the last minutes of that game. I think Kyle has a bent towards the passing game when he panics. Just like football players revert to what they are comfortable with in an emergency situation, I think Kyle tends to panic in certain situations and start throwing. One reason why is that he's a WR kind of guy, he is comfortable with the pass as originally he played WR in college.
I think Kyle has to get his inner barbarian going. I think it was the Seattle playoff game this year where - if I remember correctly - one of the Seattle players tried to injure Deebo by twisting his leg. The whole team including Kyle was out on the field. Then the next thing was Kyle calling about 9 straight run plays for a TD. I think instead of Kyle getting jitters, he should start getting pissed off and just run over teams like in the Seattle playoff game and in the 2019 NFCCG. He has a wonderful rushing attack to do it too.
Haha. That was just a joke. Cohn is a frequent visitor here too.
Yeah, Kyle, like every coach, has his tendencies. Hopefully in the future, it won't matter if he should have run when he chose to pass or pass when he should have run. Having a full time built in security blanket like CMC has made a massive difference for his QB's. No doubt. But there are some scheme/design/coaching points that could make life a bit easier on his QB and his health. No doubt.
Having a great QB helps to. And I think there's a better than not chance that is exactly what we have with Purdy.
Purdy gets hurt too.
Pivoting to "a great QB" doesn't really help the overall injury problem. This organization has had many great QB's who get hurt too.
Steve Young and Joe Montana isn't "many." We've had no other great QBs unless you go back to before color tv was widespread.
My point is it's pretty moot. "Great QB" doesn't mean they'll avoid injury here.
True I was getting caught up in irrelevant minutia. We do seem to have more injuries at the QB position, over the past 40 years, really. One wonders if the posh Bay Area life makes people softer.
Gotta be something in the water. LOL
Wouldn't surprise me if the additional miles we travel contributes. But then if that were true, Seattle would have a similar problem, as would the Rams and Chargers. Maybe even the Raiders.
Seattle gives all their players PEDs and deer antler spray.

LOL
