As the primary? Probably half a dozen.

As a part of the progression? Every single pass play

If a DB falls down he doesn't want his qb throwing the 7 yard out.

True and explosives don't have to be deep shots either...just how he sets up a receiver for a homerun.

Good example is when Juice fakes a run block then leaks down the sideline. Not a huge air yards play, but he's usually wide the f open with room to run if he catches in stride.
If we don't win it all this season, what happens to the roster?

Do we lose some of our studs?

Good stuff on how Kyle runs this b***h. How he sets up for those explosives.

It's been mentioned before but great info nonetheless.

Really puts some of those play calling criticisms in check though. Kyle is playing chess not checkers when calling the game and somehow fans want to pretend they know better.

Not likely. Should have the same roster for the most part in 24. 25 could have some decisions.

Yeah, I don't see really any key guys being changed. I'm curious what we do with armstead cause his contract expires after 2024, but overall most of our core guys will be locked up this year and the next two.

I think it's likely he gets extended

I hope so! I feel like he's super underrated. Our defense isn't the same without him. He seems to be aging well too.

i think the big question is how much will he demand? Will we have to pay more than we are now? That's a sizable risk based on where his age will be, but then again, we just paid a 30 year old DT a lot of money over a four year period.

overall, I'd be very happy to extend him.
I'm feeling really good about this upcoming season. Gonna come down to the QB and OL but I really like our chances.

We will also have to keep everyone healthy

I think it comes down to health. If we can stay healthy, we will be a force. If not, especially at QB/DL, we aren't winning anything.

it's the same two things that screw us every time for the last 12+ years.
Staying healthy but consistent is the way to go! Key really is!

No doubt. I'd imagine Juice, Kittle and CMC would be the easiest to set those up with because of their threat to run block and run. Not that he doesn't do it with receivers either.

If Latu can block we will finally have a cadre of guys that can do both. Then everyone is a chess piece.

Hell your boy Watson could go get him some.

Why? You think a fan base that firmly stands behind only the 2nd winning coach the franchise has seen in the past 2 decades is wrong? Why does it make you glad when people say bad things about him? So that you're not the only one?
