we're talking about winning SB #6 not the quest for 6 wins in a season
nah def would have won 3 ships with KC QB'n since 2018

Why does Kyle need a generational talent, first-ballot HOF QB to win a Superbowl if he's such an offensive genius and has had total control of the 53 for 7 years and counting???

You know you make a good post when Jose starts to agree with you

Bill Walsh wasn't a genius apparently
Kyle is highly regarded around the league. He's had this team in contention nearly every year since they rebuilt the team unless injuries derailed thngs. JG and his injuries were a big part of the failure to win the SB. Other injuries also came into play but the bottom line is, they were in position to win. They got beat in the 2nd half by one of the great coaches of all time and a QB that may go down as the best ever when his career is over. They lost to the Rams in the NFC championship to nother great coach and a QB that was having a great year. We all know what happened last year against the Eagles.

All and all I have to say Kyle has done a good job. This team has fallen short but they're always there. Most teams would trade places with them in a heartbeat.

Bill Walsh personally developed 2 of them. Poor take.

Took Reid nearly two deacdes. Can take time.

Since when did you care about qb play anyway? Always been satisfied with just ok.

Yup, he was the original Kyle.

Until we have that generational talent actually in house, it's best to focus on the other areas you can control. You can win that way as well. It's harder though.

Until we have that in house it should be the primary focus to find.

True. No doubt. But you have to be able to recognize the talent and then develop it to it highest potential...neither strengths of Kyle right now. But as long as Jed keeps him employed, he should keep trying.

Perhaps the first part isn't his strength but the second one most assuredly is. No QB on the 9ers hasn't played to his fullest potential (too early to say on Lance).

For the same reason Andy Reid did: those QBs win the Super Bowl the vast majority of the time.

Many have won without that though. Many. It helps with building a dynasty but it's not a requirement for winning one Superbowl.

Dynasty should always be the goal.
