Its baffling he's arguing this. The chiefs OL was all sorts of bad in the playoffs. I watched all 3 of their games. They got mahomes leg nearly snapped in half and but for mahomes being a hall of fame once in a generation player would've never made the sb

35% pressure rate in the sb, no sacks. There is a reason, and that reason is solely mahomes. I hate to admit it because I wish we had an elite QB but it is the truth

Of course it is. But when you've been arguing the same narrative for half a decade you grasp for whatever straws you can.

Brock is 1000% gonna make the OL look better with his escapability.
Brock has the moves, but consistently moving the offense down field can neutralize a defense (not letting a defense get any momentum with screw ups on offense)

That also helps tremendously. As does being able to read the defense at a high level.

What a cluster… trade 3 firsts, don't play in year one, get injured 5 quarters in to season 2, and then replaced by a guy who's definition of marginal. Does Kyle get fired if lance plays well on next team?

No

Really? If Lance ends up being better then Purdy and Darnold, still no?

Yes. Or atleast he should.

Only if Brock fails to be better than Trey

No way, at most they may stop allowing him to make decisions in the draft. As long as the team is winning and making deep playoff runs it'd be dumb as hell to fire him over personnel decisions.

The success of the team is all that matters. If we go 1-16 with Brock then sure his seat gets warm but even then if we fired him he'd have 25ish HC job offers in an instant. And this team is Super Bowl ready we can't have a QB who needs training wheels and to be in a bubble to even be on the field. Kyle literally called a 1 man route because of how bad Lance was at deciding where the ball should go.

I think his sway on the draft should have started after Dante Pettis.

You'd seriously fire a coach who rebuilt a dumpster fire into a SB contender, constantly makes deep playoff runs and is considered one of the brightest offensive minds in the game over a personnel move? LMAO. This could go down as one of the worst draft moves ever made by the team and it barely affected the team. That's how good a coach he is.

Trading away picks for a bust is irrelevant so long as you win.

The Niners win.

Nobody is getting fired. Nobody is getting reprimanded. The picks don't matter.

They only matter for conversation and emotion.

Draft picks only exist to support wins. You could launch 10 years of draft picks into the sun and it wouldn't matter so long as the team wins.
Oh look the kyle haters are out in full force lol

You're not a Super Bowl team with Sam F'ing darnold as you're back up QB!!! Especially when you know your starter will definitely get hurt at some time in the season!
all this tells me is our QB room sucks A$$.

biy oh boy, and when Sam Darnold starts, and he goes Sam Darnold, I hope everyone remembers how much shanny talked him up. Cause Sam only knows how to go Sam, and when he does, this place is gonna F'ing lose its collective head.
