we have a 2nd rate QB room. A slapped together offensive line. Our depth on the defensive line is gone and we have a new defensive coordinator who is nothing like the last 2 we had. We can't stop the run. We have a rookie kicker after ditching one who couldn't miss. But we're a Super Bowl team. Man, go sell crazy somewhere else.

you clearly dont watch football. and lol at your emotional connection to a player but not the team.
I think this is it for him. If Purdy doesn't work out and continue an upward trajectory, his future is murky.

If Lance succeeds elsewhere and the Niner QBs get injured or struggle, then I wouldn't be surprised as we are an older team now and our window is now. If he can't make it work very soon and Lance starts succeeding elsewhere, it'll be knives out.

Stop conflating your personal opinions of Shanahan with those of the GM or ownership.

They are not the same.
Kyle's going nowhere. Jed loves him. three NFCCG and a SB appearance. made Jed money. seems like some here dont understand the business of football.

Very small chance that happens so rest easy

that description sounds like the same crying the last few years.. yet we're at the SB doorstep lol
This is a fireable offense. You green light a trade to send 3, first round picks for an EXTREMELY raw QB prospect. Give him 4 starts and give up. EVERY OTHER COACH in the league would be fired for this. Smh

Andy Reid did the same thing and he got fired at the end of the day it's about Chips not just making money.

Agreed. Trading Lance now certainly adds another layer of risk this year and down the line. If Brock ain't it he better hope darnold is reborn otherwise his resume will scream oc only.

For all you know Jed could have said- you better hope Brock works out and Trey doesn't.
Agree with most posters on here, there's no more excuses for KS. He has to win a Super Bowl, period. And, if history is any precedent and he has injured quarterbacks, how much longer will the fan base wait? Jed York will wait forever because KS is a cash cow, but empty seats speak loudly.
He should get down on his knees and fellate Brock and Jimmy G (last season) for saving his job. The Lance trade was a collapse organizational mishap.
