What happens if Purdy puts up Pro Bowl numbers, looks amazing, but the 49ers defense gives up 40 points to the Chiefs and the 49ers lose the Super Bowl 40-39?

There are plenty of scenarios where Purdy confirms he was the right choice but the 49ers don't win the Super Bowl. It's not 100% black/white.

I said he should start week 1 his rookie year to get the learning curve out of the way. I didn't want to hear in year 2 all the excuses he hadn't played in 2+ years. This was a horrible draft pick from day 1 and I'll be relieved when he's gone. People really think he's gonna ascend to greatness haven't paid attention to almost all our early draft picks being busts.

That's exactly why you don't give up 3 first round picks for someone as RAW as Lance.

Thankfully we have Brock, otherwise things would look a little more concerning right now.

So you don't like winning ? Because all the winning in these last 4 years was on the back of Kyle's coaching and the team he helped build.

I'm not advocating for firing a HC because he took one big swing and appears to have unfortunately missed on but one QB when you consider everything Kyle has built and accomplished here to date.

Yeah I liked the move up to 3 cause it was clear QB was our weak link. I just didn't understand taking the blue meat raw QB prospect. Justin Fields with this roster would be a f**king nightmare for every DC in the NFL.
