Cousins yes, but we still don't know if either Purdy or Lance are viable long-term franchise QB's.

There's no comparison and a more clear cut decision with Brock over Trey. And I am a Trey fan before I was a fan of Brock.

Well I like how he spoke about Trey. Pretty much admitted he f'ed up and missed his chance with Kyle without actually saying that. .

Doesn't change the situation much because they totally pooched this kids development.

Injury and Brock Purdy. Lance can overcome one but not both. I don't think anyone can.

Dont use a Top 5 pick on a guy with 300 college passing attempts. Lance was going to be a long shot no matter where he went. Historically, the odds favored him being a bust and they rolled the dice anyways.

This situation will define him. If Brock gets hurt and darnold blows...oof. I can't see Sam being any netter than jimmy tbh, probably not even as good tbh.

If brock doesn't perform well it's going to be rough too.

Oddly enough I felt making Trey the backup was the wiser move in many ways. Imo this puts a lot more unneeded attention and pressure on brock and the rest of the team.

If you're rich then you're rich, nobody cares how you got rich.

We may have won the lottery (Brock) after investing everything in Blockbuster (Trey), but we got the result we wanted in the end.

If Brock flames out then maybe, but I don't see that happening.
