I honestly don't think you could be any more wrong if you tried. This team, bereft of talent at several key positions and winless, goes into every game and refuses to give up. That, to me, is the definition of a winning culture. Having a winning culture != Winning. Winning requires a lot of other things to fall into place. But to say that what we've seen so far indicates that there isn't a winning culture in place just beyond ludicrous.

0-6 is not a winning culture unless this is some kind of new wave math

Lol new wave math
Kyle just needs a little time and some more talent an offense. Lynch needs to keep investing in the defense because Kyle will get the offense fixed. He just needs a little help and 1 or 2 more offseasons.

I know some people don't want to be patient, but we need stability and KS is a proven commodity on offense. Give him time and keep improving the defense. That combo should prove to be a winning formula and provided some longevity.

There's not many coaches that could win with Hoyer and our young team. On paper, we shouldn't even be competitive and we are. On both sides of the ball, our guys aren't even comfortable in the system yet. This is shaping up to being another ugly season, but I still like the direction we're heading, unlike with the last 2 guys.

Just for fun...

Matt Ryan
2016 stats: 4944 yards, 38 TD, 7 Int
2017 projection: 4342 yards, 19 TD, 19 Int

Safe to say that Ryan misses KS.

Truth. And KS worked around Julio's chronic injuries last year too. No excuses for the Falcons this year.

just that, deserves a extension already (no Sarcasm)
Love what KS had to say about run/pass ratio today, in that he only looks for 50/50 in "normal" situations, meaning 1st and 2nd downs. 3rd downs and 2-minute drills are thrown out as they'll naturally be skewed towards pass. Then the way to get closer to 50/50 overall is to do better at 3rd down conversion, and of course play with a lead. (He didn't say the play with a lead part, but it's an understood).

I've decided to take it a little easier on KS this week.... although he struggles with taking advice.... and his 0-6 arrogance is a little unnecessary for a guy that has struggled so mightily to command a team.... but it would be nice to actually see a win before November.... I want to bring some positivity to the table.

What advice has he not taken? Who is he supposed to be taking advice from?

I'm good with Beathard starting.... let's see what this staff can do to develop a youngster.... In their heart of hearts, nobody wants Cousins.

There are plenty of posts on this forum with solid advice that Shanahan has refused to heed. It is possible that he hasn't seen those posts, but it is also possible that he has seen them and stubbornly refused to listen out of arrogance.
