Dallas gets a spy and a project for a 4th round pick. Trey's gonna share our offense and Shanny's mindset/strategy after spending all those hours in QB meetings with him. Dumb trade on so many levels.

Kyle only hangs out with Kittle, Juice, CMC, and Brock.

He doesn't hang around guys like Deebo (dog house), BA (dog house), Trent Williams, Fred Warner, or Hargrave.

It's a volatile business in the best of times. He'll shrug it off and move forward. How Purdy performs will largely dictate his future, but that was true yesterday as well.

As much as I wanted Trey to get a fresh start somewhere else, from Kyle's perspective it would have been better to trade him to any other team than the Cowboys. If Trey balled out in Minnesota, I don't think it would have been that big of a deal... media and fans already felt that would be best for both..

But doing well for the Cowboys?

And we don't even know how teams will adjust to Brock this season.

if Brock plays well and leads us to the playoffs, i think the lance trade will be a rare mulligan for this regime. A deep playoff run and its ancient history

Lance Would actually have to understand the offense for that to be a thing.

Nope. Fields doesn't beat out Jimmy G either and his early play sinks this team in year two.

He's still a project as a passer and that's with two full years of playing time on a bad team. He doesn't get that here.

I could have sworn Kyle and Deebo were on vacation together earlier this year.
