I honestly don't think you could be any more wrong if you tried. This team, bereft of talent at several key positions and winless, goes into every game and refuses to give up. That, to me, is the definition of a winning culture. Having a winning culture != Winning. Winning requires a lot of other things to fall into place. But to say that what we've seen so far indicates that there isn't a winning culture in place just beyond ludicrous.

0-6 is not a winning culture unless this is some kind of new wave math

You used to seem like one of the more reasonable posters in here but clearly you have gone over the edge into Blindfury and susweel territory. The team wasn't going anywhere this year so I really don't see how their record even matters at this point. In spite of your constant, and misplaced criticisms, the team is actually playing better than they have been for the past few seasons. That you can't see that clearly says more about you then it does Shanahan. It will take them at least a season to sort out the mess that Baalke left , maybe even two depending on what happens with the QB position but so far I haven't seen anything to suggest that they aren't going to improve. Maybe you should take a hiatus until then to help you reduce your stress level.

Considering that Kyle clearly doesn't have any answers, he should consider looking for them wherever he can find them.

Kyle just needs a little time and some more talent an offense. Lynch needs to keep investing in the defense because Kyle will get the offense fixed. He just needs a little help and 1 or 2 more offseasons.

I know some people don't want to be patient, but we need stability and KS is a proven commodity on offense. Give him time and keep improving the defense. That combo should prove to be a winning formula and provided some longevity.

There's not many coaches that could win with Hoyer and our young team. On paper, we shouldn't even be competitive and we are. On both sides of the ball, our guys aren't even comfortable in the system yet. This is shaping up to being another ugly season, but I still like the direction we're heading, unlike with the last 2 guys.

Just for fun...

Matt Ryan
2016 stats: 4944 yards, 38 TD, 7 Int
2017 projection: 4342 yards, 19 TD, 19 Int

Safe to say that Ryan misses KS.

I have a buddy who is a falcons fan and i told him in the off-season they lost their best player and he didn't understand

Haha yeah Falcons fans thought they were going to go 16-0. Getting beat down so far without Shanahan

Their second half defense has been terrible this year. It's a good thing they blamed their offense for that Super Bowl comeback and ignored improving the defense in this area, amirite?

Fools.

But I'm not shocked though you folks actually thought Hoyer was a competent QB and Shanny is a better coach than McDaniels.

#1
McDaniels was a s**tty HC and got fired and hasnt been a HC since.

#2
Hoyer's previous stats and his success in practice this year (according to all the beat writers), prove he should have been a serviceable stop gap QB until we found our future franchise QB.

....oh and how is Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and the Falcons offense doing without Shanahan?

Improving their d was their main goal this offseason. They signed Poe and their first three draft picks were used for defense. Including trading up for Takarist McKinley.

I meant schematic improvement. They did get new players, yes, but there's something in their approach in the 2nd half of games that is being exploited by all their opponents.

Yea definitely . Especially with the HC they got. That team was in the Super Bowl because of their OC, not their defensive minded HC

I've decided to take it a little easier on KS this week.... although he struggles with taking advice.... and his 0-6 arrogance is a little unnecessary for a guy that has struggled so mightily to command a team.... but it would be nice to actually see a win before November.... I want to bring some positivity to the table.

What advice has he not taken? Who is he supposed to be taking advice from?

There are plenty of posts on this forum with solid advice that Shanahan has refused to heed. It is possible that he hasn't seen those posts, but it is also possible that he has seen them and stubbornly refused to listen out of arrogance.

That's some funny, and insane stuff right there. No HC worth a crap gives a rats ass about what a bunch of self important armchair amateurs has to say on a fan forum.

Tits Kelly and Dumsula could learn a thing or two... Where are they now?

Baalke could have learned a thing or two from Sus.

I did learn something though. I don't use the ignore button nearly enough.

Probably.
Earlier in the season, there was lots of talk about tanking....soft tank, hard tank, whatever tank so we get top 2-5 pick in draft. Then with 0-2, 0-4, and now 0-6, some fans were well on their way. But if anyone thinks kyle and lynch are taking this laying down, they are grossly mistaken. They want each and every win they can squeeze out fo the game. They are NOT tanking, especially kyle. All you had to do was look at him on the sideline last Sunday to see a guy tormented by this team's play...ok, his QBs play. Then the yank and in comes CJ. I take kyle at his word of wanting DJ on the clipboard all yr, learning by watching. Unfortunately, there was nothign to learn from Hoyer, so kyle upped his CJ insertion date and game 6, midway thru it, he pulls hoyer.

So those who are so certain we are picking in the top 5 this yr, you are in for a surprise. Because kyle is going to do anything he can to get as many Ws as he can. Forget the top 5 pick. He is gunning for winning every single game we get in. Now, that may not mean a bunch of wins, but we aren't losing on out either. I took the over of 4.5 Ws and with hoyer in, that looked like a lead plated loser. Now we shall see. But for you tankers out there, fuggedaboudit. Isn't happening. Kyle is going for the gold, and regardless of how many or how few...he is going to try and win them all. With CJ, that is a lot more likely than with Hoyer. Hoyer probably could have made it. But that is now off the table and kyle is gunning for Ws...not Ls...he has been humiliated to date, and that is about to change.
